Just realised I didn't post this here despite this being my main place to put TMNT stuff... I did this Traximus piece and I honestly quite like it, despite how messy it is. My underrated king <3

Love that canonically Traximus loves popcorn and was introduced to it by Mikey. Like I am not sure if he is even capable of properly digesting something like that, but that sure does not stop him. He's going to enjoy the pop corn that somehow Mikey smuggled in(it is never explained)

I imagine Mikey get's all smug about it too. Because that's Raph's new buddy, but now whenever he has time to visit, one of the first things he does is ask for more of that earth delicacy. Raph pretends to be annoyed by it(Less about the friend sharing and more about refusing to let Mikey get away with being ""annoying"" <3), but he too is very happy to enjoy some snacks popcorn. Especially since Mikey and Don has turned it into a quiet competition of who can find the most unique popcorn flavors. From hard candy style popcorn, to freshly popped jiffy pop, when Traximus comes over, it's both a time of being able to hang out with friends as well as treating themselves to a bit of junk food.

This does mean Traximus has come out with a very odd view of the average earthling diet, but they don't mind that. Though Donatello does end up making a few corrections about what is good for human's to eat vs the entire concept of junk food.

The Triceraton certainly seems to be enjoying himself either way

Traximus is a Triceraton warrior and an ally of the Ninja Turtles. When his world came under the control of a violent dictator, Traximus openly questioned his ways and advocated for a return to older, more honorable Triceraton values. Traximus was convicted of high treason for this, and sentenced to live out the rest of his life as a gladiator, where he slowly fell into despair.

However, the arrival of the Ninja Turtles helped re-spark his sense of honor, and he was inspired by their kindness and mercy. He and the Turtles managed to escape the sadistic games, and Traximus went on to recruit fellow warriors to help him in overthrowing his planet's corrupt government. But he remains a loyal and helpful friend to the Turtles.

Why has nobody talked about one of the preview pages for the upcoming TMNT: Battle Nexus comics confirming that Traximus is finally returning to the franchise after over 20 years of absence?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

And I had to find out from scrolling through Google images because Comic Con announced new variant covers for TMNT Battle Nexus and clicking on said image that links to IGN.

Yes, it's probably just a cameo to please 2003 fans, but LOOK AT HIM!!!!! He's finally back!!!! And he has the Battle Nexus trophy!!! That means he's won at some point!!!!!!!!

Now I have to read the new Battle Nexus comic!

oh, raph and leo are a classic. you can never go wrong with those two, in any continuity. that said, if we're including characters besides the turtles, i'm also a big fan of raphael and traximus. seriously underrated duo right there
