I tell ya what, Mothership really did single-handedly turn me into a Modules Guy.
I'd written them off entirely for well over a decade of GMing because the first couple D&D and Pathfinder modules I read and tried to run sucked, and then I go and run two Mothership one-shots and now I'm a Modules Guy. Now when I find a new system and it's not one of those "the system itself generates the adventure" deals like Mythic Bastionland I'm immediately hunting for modules that get me excited. (And the fact that Mythic Bastionland includes multiple modules' worth of content and a system to make use of all of it through play with almost no prep is one of the coolest things about it.)
I guess if Mothership hadn't gotten there first, Delta Green woulda probably done it too
