What changes when the Magicless Prefect is also a microwave? Not much, actually.

Character that would taste the snow the first time they saw it during their first year at NRC :

Kalim (excited, impulsive, fascinated, screamed because it was way colder than expected)

Floyd (excited, impulsive, wanted to know how it tasted like, was disappointed)

Jade (said it was a science experiment but was actually as curious and intrigued as his brother)

Ruggie (wanted to know if it was edible and tasted good cause he couldn't affort lunch)

Character who DIDN'T try to eat snow the first time they saw it and absolutely judged the one who did :

Leona (didn't care about the snow, didn't like it, stayed inside as long as he could)

Azul (part of him was curious too but the rational brain knows snow isn't edible so he thinks the twins are stupid)

Jamil (wanted to bury Kalim in the snow and leave him there)

Character who have seen snow before but still tried to eat it

Deuce (does that every winter)

Grim (is Grim)

Reader who knows cat language and uses it to their advantage to get Grim to do things or behave (or just to mess with him).

Reader who has the “mah-ow” noise perfected. (It means “come here” in cat language).

Reader who makes that noise or some variation of pspsps or a series of tongue clicks, and Grim, who falls for it every. single. time.

The others find it oddly entertaining to see the Reader do this, and watch Grim’s eyes get all big and interested in response only for him to raise hell when the Reader tricks him once again just because they wanted pets and cuddles.

Grim never learns to simply ignore the sounds.
