If you aren’t sure which Berry you’d like to feature for your Pokémon, Pokémon Sleep actually has a favorite Berry for each Type (eg. Fairies like Pecha Berries)

Don’t forget other foods featured in the games, like potato mochi or croissant curry (lol okayyyy I’ll serve it XD)

Pokémon Sleep also has a list of savory stews, salads, & desserts you could refer to as well (eg. the “Cloud Nine” Soy Cake Ansy’s enjoying with Flurry there is from Sleep!).

PSA: Food pantries need CASH more than food.

Food pantries can buy significantly more with cash than you can due to specific bulk buying agreements with farms, stores, and distributors, through programs such as Feeding America. So if you buy a 5 pound of potatoes for 3$, they could get the same 5 lbs for 50 cents because they're buying them by the pallet.

Cash for food pantries also helps pay for their utilities such as electricity for refrigerators. Another way to help food pantries right now is to volunteer with them, they are swamped and overloaded, and need all hands on deck. Call and ask how you can be of assistance.

Additionally, right now, while folks have the rest of their SNAP, that cheap food in stores is life-saving. People rushing to buy them clears out the stock and leaves us forced to find other options or go without.

Where a food pantry provides 1 meal, food stamps can provide 9. Food pantries cannot sustainably handle this level of demand. Until SNAP is reinstated, this is a crisis across the country, especially in rural areas.

Actually disgusting that not a single mainstream media outlet has covered the vile shit that the republicans hid in the provisions for the spending bill. First of all there’s the big one- banning trans healthcare by withholding funding from any institution which provides gender affirming care of any sort. Then there’s the fact that they want to also cut all medicare funding for abortions unless it’s because of rape or incest. On top of all that there’s the fact they would bar funding for schools that allow trans women to compete in women’s sports. Another provision says they would take away funding from any institution that raises a flag other than the flags of: the US, a state/territory and other flags like the POW/MIA flag and the flag of a tribal government. Basically they’re very directly targeting pride flags. This is literally just one part of a series of appropriation bills that I wouldnt be suprised also do crazy things as part of their funding requirements.

Day 21 of shutdown. My last full paycheck was on 9/26. I have been in “no pay” status since October first, but still required to come in and work. We have no idea when the shutdown will end, or when we’ll be paid again for the hours we have actually WORKED.

I feel stressed, heartbroken and humiliated. This is not how an employer should treat their workers. I honestly enjoy what I do for a living, so could they just let us do our fucking JOBS and oh yeah, pay us for working as well? I will be completely out of money soon if this continues on indefinitely, so I am applying around for PT work. I feel sick.
