- #myhands I had a little bit of a scare the other night. It was rather dumb actually. While carrying my overstuffed leather tote, I pulled a muscle or something in one of my fingers. I felt a bit of a pop and was in extreme pain. I admit, I cried. Not because of the pain I was feeling, but because of the fear that I would not be able to work. Not be able to do what I was created to do and have been doing all my life. I was afraid I would need surgery and be out of commission for a while. Afraid that everything I have worked and sacrificed so hard to build, would be destroyed buy a mistake that could have been avoided. - I sat in my kitchen with an ice pack on the bruise on the palm of my hand wondering what I was going to do and kicking myself because I can't believe I hadn't thought about this before. #backupplan - After a few days of taking it easy and doing absolutely nothing, I'm happy to report that today I was able to braid one of my leather rings! My hand is still bruised and sore but I can deal as long as I can work and create for you.♥️ . . . . . . . . #loveself #valueself #valuewhatyoucreate #selflove #mytools #mytoolsoftrade #craftsman #craftsmen #mycraft #leather #leatherworker #leatherwork #leathershop #shopping #shop #rings #madeinamerica #madewithlove #madewithleather #dirtyhands #hands #nhartist #bossmom #newenglandarist #smallbusiness #etsy #etsyshop (at Lisa M.
