So I read a fanfic where Damian Wayne gets sent to the Marvel and he starts to live with Peter Parker and Peter works on his web shooters and Damian tells him that he is doing it wrong and I just know that would piss Peter off you know how you know how to do something and then people will correct you on it because they think they know more. Yeah something like that would happen Damian would think Peter is stupid despite him being really smart and he would get mad at Damian. Then Damian finds out how smart Peter is and is just pissed
The mechanical vs organic web shooter debate is being discussed a bit I've noticed so I thought I would add my 2 cents that no one asked for.
As far as I've noticed since I became a Spider-Man fan back in 2014 most fans seem to be all one side or the other, there are a few that don't mind both. I am one such fan.
I honestly as far as writing and for the character can understand the appeal of both.
Mechanical webshooters showcase Peter's genius and being tech-based you can do a bit with that, Spider-Man: Homecoming shows this when Peter is stuck in the DDC warehouse and the A.I. is teaching him. Plus there is the fun what if his web shooters get jammed/crushed/stop working or add problem for Peter here so now he is without that in his arsenal and has to utilize his genius to come up with a solution for the given problem.
Organic webshooters I can understand the appeal for the "does whatever a spider can". He has evolved and a unique DNA now since the bite all these spider powers it makes sense to be able to biologically create his own. I don't know maybe science wise that can come with his own blessings and problems to deal with.
Anyways I've never been all one side and hate the other I can understand and appreciate both sides of this debate. But to each their own, I suppose.
Even the “Japan First” shit makes me sick.
Web fluid all overrrr
