When you first met Ashton he was bubbly. Bubbly and light and happy and everything you needed in your life. You had meet at an ice cream parlor. As sweet as it sounds, long story short, Ashton had ice cream all over himself and you stood in shock with an empty cone. Fast forward six months, Ashton had asked you out on your first date. Yes, you had been friends first, flirty friends, but still friends non the less. You (ironically) had gone to an ice cream shop after a movie, which Ashton teased you about the whole night. One date turned to two and then four and then 8 and then to every Friday night. There were fancy dinners and aquarium dates, to nights in and baking. Until you met close friends, family, and even pets. Fast forward four years of holidays and date nights and family gatherings and tour. You could see a family starting with Ashton and you couldn't be happier that Friday night, in that same ice cream parlor when it became official. Travel through another year of planning and date nights and here you are now. Standing in the mirror struggling to keep the tears from falling when you realize it's actually happening. You're actually marrying Ashton Irwin. The dress was white and beautiful and your hair was done perfectly. Ashton's mom, Anne, was just as big a mess as you were, tissues clutched tightly in her hands. "You look so beautiful." She managed to get out, staring at you through the mirror. After thanking her and putting on your shoes, it was almost time. "Hey Y/N, we're almost rea- Woah..." Michael had come into the room to make sure you and your bridesmaids were ready when he cut himself off. "You look amazing." He smiled at you. "But we're ready and Ashton is freaking out and I won't be surprised if he passes out." At hearing this words Anne ran out of the room to go tend to her son. To which not long after you were ready to begin your trek down the isle. At the beginning you were smiling, but when you caught sight of Ashton, you almost ran to him. His hands were covering his mouth and nose, and you could tell he was trying not to cry, which just made you want to bawl. Slowly but surely you made your to Ashton, standing in from of him wiping at one eye, careful not to ruin your makeup. "You're so beautiful." Ashton whispered to you, tears in his own eyes. "Don't cry, you're going to make me cry." You replied, quietly. - Quite honestly, you were holding your tears back pretty well, until you got to the vows. Ashton went first, pulling out a small paper with a shaky hand. "So, I just want to start out with saying that I love you so much. Now, I may not be the happiest over the fact that you ruined one if my favorite shirts, but I would ruin all my clothes if it meant I could be with you. I promise I won't take the last cookie no matter how much I want it. I promise I will always cuddle you whenever I can, even if you want to be the big spoon. I promise to always be there whenever I can. I promise to tell you I love you everyday, no matter what mood I'm in. I promise to hold you through the bad days and hold you even tighter through the good days. I promise we will start a family of our own soon because I know how much you love kids. And lastly, I promise to never let you go." By the end of his speech you were a mess. Tears were everywhere and you were smiling so big. You could barely read your own vows and you knew Ashton was crying when you were to the end of your vows. And finally, when your lips connected. You knew. You knew, he was the best thing to ever happen to you. And you couldn't be more happy. --- heres a lil ashton fluff for @japanmikey wedding!5sos blurb night and also sorry if you cried, I know I was a mess when writing this
