In which an injured crusader wants to lay with his caretaker nun, but she's a bit too aware of the consequences of such desires ~ VTM Dark Ages AU Noa and Godwynn! And a sketch of Nyth! Those are BOTH Nyth in the sketch. He has just removed sudrah (VTM Dark Ages AU stuff beneath the cut if you're interested!)
Context: So we have a VTM Dark Ages AU, and the basic plot (for Nyth and Noa and company) is that Noa is a young nun within an abbey in Spain while Nyth is a local Jewish physician that is allowed certain practice within the abbey, and is the only doctor the nuns will let into their side of the building because Nyth presents as female with them to make them comfortable. Nuns don't give him away and will absolutely bully ones who would. Noa was placed within the abbey by her family for protections, but the nuns believe her a problem child so she is frequently punished with crypt duty, but she actually meets the Cappadocians who live underground, and they admire her thirst for knowledge and tutor her when she visits. Nyth and her of course meet and become close friends! Nyth the physician is actually a hermetic sorcerer as well so he's got the MAGIC. The Abbot is a vain and handsome man who is getting a bit lusty and prideful and focusing his attentions on Noa so she and Nyth plot his demise (at least socially). This is when Nyth "reveals his female gender" to the Abbot to start his rapid fall from grace into sin to fool him into thinking he's damned himself and he commits ALL the sin and blah blah blah they have fun.
Godwynn is a injured crusader who gets carted to the abbey from battle and is basically diagnosed with "permanently injured leg." He'll live, will be able to walk, but he's basically lame for the rest of his life which throws him into a spiral. Noa is forced at first to be his caretaker just due to the timing he was brought in, but because she has terrible bedside manner and a "I don't care about you really" attitude he demands she stay his caretaker. Typical. Don't worry she's into him. Unfortunately. He eventually is released from care before Noa and Nyth escape the abbey, and he is Embraced by a Ventrue which cures his lameness. By the time he returns to the abbey to take Noa with him into the night, her and Nyth have already ruined the reputation of the Abbot and fled. He takes the Abbot's life as a consolation prize before making his choice to try and follow them.

jaskier in their early days thinking he’s being VERY subtle about trying to wrap geralt in soft things and feed him nice tasties and make him sleep full nights while geralt’s skin is crawling bc what is this??? it’s great but also disgusting??? and it extends to roach, too, and jaskier spends fucking HOURS grooming her after geralt’s already done it, and if geralt tries to stop him, he gets slapped away while jaskier shrieks about the rudeness!! the very GALL of him!!
and then later on ciri comes into the picture and that’s when jaskier gets TRULY insufferable bc how dare you!! put his child in the cold! with her ears exposed!! “jaskier’s it’s summer she’ll be f-” SHE IS GOING TO GET HYPOTHERMIA AND DIE. CIRI DARLING COME HERE AND PUT ON ANOTHER SWEATER-
Okay but I’m still obsessed with rainbow billy and if nobody else wants to post about it then I guess I’ll just sit in my corner and be incomprehensible.
One of my favourite things about the game is that if you cure enough people, eventually you’ll see them hanging out in the world. You have some obvious picks, like Dreecko and Flapjack enjoying their date in sunken harbour or the muscleheads psyching each other up to fight the leviathan.
But I’m so obsessed with the picks that just don’t seem obvious. Mipsy challenging Giro to a staring contest, Whabam training Bunglebee to be the next boxing champ, and let’s not forget Solero and Lunaris having their usual argument over pessimism vs. optimism, and of all people, choosing Boln to be their mediator.
