For a change do you fancy reading a non “my running is fabulous” post, because let’s face it, not every run is a joy?!?! Today I did a 14 miler with the most vile climbs and headwind, that I may have let out a swear word occasionally! My knee then started getting sore, and upon realising there was no other way of getting home, had a total anxiety melt down that I’d be wrecking my London training by picking up an injury, and then went into panic attack meltdown!!! Heart rate met amazing heights 😩 If it wasn’t for @mlawrence50 talking me down I’d have flagged down the next car and begged for a lift home 😂 In summary, vile run, cried a bit, swore at the elements, but the positives are that I didn’t stop once, still managed a 7:30 average, and after stretching knee is pain free! Not all bad therefore.
