Wow! Yeah, lots of cats art recently hey? I actually drew half of them during December and have been taking a break. Now that I’m catching up on the prompt list I’ve decided to finish some old art! (Detective trout comic in the works, idk when) and Samara is one I definitely wanted to show off!! Here is her story:

Samara was born centuries into the future after arc three, 100 years after the Hivewings eventually gained the ability to once again govern themselves. Usually Leafwing students would go into biological professions or straight into the Army but Samara wanted more: a one way ticket into the prestigious school for animi! Set up as a preventive measure for future animus only animi may attend this school, and those who graduate, go on to live very successful lives. Samara knew she would be set for life, along with access to the most powerful animus enchanted items she’s ever seen. Her incredibly powerful leafspeak made it easy to pretend to be an animi, spitting seeds on objects and growing vines out of them like a spell. She excused all disbelief in stating she only realized recently as she had a habit to use her magic thinking it was leafspeak, when in reality she had both! Shipped off to the school Samara now realizes the gravity of her situation, as the first Patalan dragon to have ‘magic.’ Many teachers (also animi) don’t believe her, and she realizes to live a life of luxury she must first find a way through 5 years being holed up with the best animi in the continent, and not get caught!

Ryujin, The Turbulent Song Of The Sea.

The Maiden Who Speaks To The Sea, Her Thoughts, The Turbulent Determination, Power, And Strength Of The Waves, Her Voice Like An Unexpectedly Gentle, Fragile, Song Carried Upon The Strong Currents. Her Name Speaks The Might Of The Ocean, In Mere Syllables.

New Oc be like... Meet Ryujin (She's based off of a god kinda, yes.) Line art by my close friend Newbie, edits, lotus, "chin tentacles", design, and fill by me. Her occupation? She makes jewelery,

Her mom thought a "dignified" name would keep her from getting bullied in school, but she still got bullied anyways for being a tribrid.

She grew up with a mother who was always over her shoulder, or watching Ryu like a hawk. So when she could finally move out and be herself, she jumped at the chance, eventually settling in some quiet little place where she can be alone. Despite looking like she's calm and happy most of the time, Ryu actually has a relatively short temper, and doesn't like being bossed around, lied to, or other dragons snooping about her business.

She prefers to work in quiet areas, making new jewelry to sell, and too much noise can irritate her easily.

She's only really kind and trusting, and loyal, to those she is close with, like friends, well, that would be if she had any. Her mother always made her so anxious, that she never really made any, and being a tribrid honestly just made it even worse.

Ryu also never had seen her father, and her mother never really mentioned him much, he sort of just wasn't there as she was growing up, she knew she had one, because, that's just how logic works, but she also knows he either left before she was hatched, or he died somewhere, and was long gone by now.

Ryu has never really thought about love much, it never really strikes her as something that would really happen to her, why would it? She's a weird little tribrid in everyone's eyes. Who would want to be with her? She did kind of had a crush when she was a dragonet in school, another dragon, but this crush would only ever get her more judged if she ever spoke it aloud. Because this dragon wasn't a he, but a she. Ryu has no special powers or anything like that, just tribal stuff, like breathing underwater, fire, that is about it, mostly.

Ryujin is rather talented at crafting jewelry with gems and stones, and metals, she also occasionally uses wood to craft pieces.

She's also an accomplished artist, and sells her art in the markets, and she even has a rather lovely, pleasant, singing voice. Ryu is a Skywing/Leafwing/Seawing.

Bio: Name: Aurora Race: Half nightwing, half rainwing Gender: Female/agender (gender flux, she/they) Age: 4 years old (a child) Personnality: clumsy, childish, optimist, forgives easily, not very-self aware, has almost no filter. Likes: sweet foods, playing games, most dragons, hugs. Dislikes: conflict, teasing, lack of sleep, long repetitive tasks (she has a very short attention span) and cold.

As Tundra.skies ‘s (insta) contest is coming to a close I figure I better get my post in! I based this fellow upon the little stuffed doll Void has in his talons (Since I brought up the idea in the comments I hope I did not take over anything you had planned, and if I did, Trout can be un canon of course lol) So, more about him here:

Trout is a legend in the detective business in the Seawing kingdom, revolutionizing the process and catching over 1000+ individuals in his lifetime not including getting classified information on others. He is quite egotistical and brash, preferring to work alone and isn’t afraid of being snappy to those who hire him- as he is in high demand. His popularity even landed him a spot in the Nightwing courts of law school as a professor, which is where he currently resides with a focus on criminal justice. In his mid-age he finds himself out competed by those who are younger and has been taking it rather harshly, his reputation as a strict old professor overshadowing his achievements. When, suddenly an anonymous dragon asked for his services- all the way across the continent. Aiming to catch his former glory he accepted and has put his teaching career on hold, dropping everything to collect dirt on the Rising Dunes for the few who oppose them. But he has taken on no small task, and he feels as if the whole desert is against him. The only positive he has is the locals have no information on him, although it’s only a matter of time before they go snooping. His main focus is on Void, struggling to contain the information he has from the prying dragon. Although the rest of Polaris’s children have also given him threats to deal with. (I also made his scarf resemble a collar and tie, but it does have a hood in the back to cover his features and protect from sand.) Hope yall enjoy!! ✨✨

Yeargh..!! Here is my submission to @duck_in_a_bucket ‘s character creation contest!! To explain a little bit, I created a little Sandwing kid named Griffen! He’s probably about pre-teen age and often wants to ‘prove’ himself, having a pretty stoic and cool boy attitude when he’s really just a rebellious youngster mixed up with a rag tag crowd. I based him off of colored canyons and a little bit of cowboys! Now, onto the story ✨ (which can be changed or adjusted by Duck in any way shape or form.)

Story: Griffen was a hatchling when his parents got mixed up in the wrong crowd, and as a result faced a lot of hardship in life. Because of his step-father’s horrible nature and neglect from a worn out mom he fled to find better things in life. This lead him to the MudWing Kingdom where he was promptly arrested and charged with stealing a cow, fortunately for him he managed an escape and wearily made his way to the beaches of the SeaWing Kingdom where he met the crew! Pretty new himself he is eager to rise the ranks and become a super cool pirate, although not realizing life on the sea might not be the best for a youngster. His claws are stained from ammunition powder and he looks up to the SandWing prince (often copying him) due to their connection in species, on the other hand he’s TERRIFIED of the MudWing troop. Overall he’s a cocky, annoying kid who is in a ‘coming of age’ story currently ^^ Hope you enjoy! ❤️(BTW he wears a vest to sheild from explosions, cloth to keep frill out of his face, and crooked tail from it being stepped on!!)
