Meh.
I’m about 6 weeks out from surgery and I’m so damn impatient. I want this SO badly and I’m so ready. I love seeing everyone else’s post about how much they’ve lost, but I want it. I’m so ready to have this tool and start using it. I want the weight to be coming off, I want to be more active, I want my clothes to get bigger and bigger. I want this life I have chosen and I just wish it was happening sooner.

Got my blood results back a few days ago. Everything is normal except I have EXTREMELY LOW Vitamin D. Normal levelss for Vitamin D are 20-50. Mine came back <4. It’s not my fault I am a vampire who doesn’t like milk. So, I’ll have to take 2,000mg of Vitamin D 2x daily as per the rest of the vitamins.
On another note, I only have about 6lbs to lose for surgery. I’m hoping to lose that fast before my next appointment. My patient coordinator put in a request for my Surgeon to go over all my stuff and see if I need anything else. I’ve finished all my prereq’s. If everything goes well and I don’t need anything else, it’s straight to submitting to insurance & getting a surgery date!! I’m so excited and soooo nervous.
I've been a bad blogger the past two weeks. I've been feeling super exhausted all the time, which I think has to do with the abnormally heavy period I had, and have just been struggling to function normally. I hit my one month surgery anniversary on the 19th and am 25lbs down from my surgery, almost 80lbs down overall. I can definitely see it and feel it more now, but the whole feeling like shit thing has zapped my enthusiasm for the moment. It will come back. I just have to try to reach some equilibrium. Also an internal came out through one of my incisions which was super squicky, but the doctor said it was OK at my wound check today. Pics available by request for those not queasy. 😅 All in all, life is progressing and I'm still happy I took this step. 💕
