I know it's uncomfirmed what species of dragon queen Tawny is supposed to be, and how soon Beetlewings disappeared, but I decided to draw Tawny as a pure Beetlewing.

My favorite Wings of Fire character list is funny because it's like

Tsunami: First favorite character and main favorite out of DoD. I really enjoyed her head-strong nature and love for her friends.

Anemone: First real obsession over character. 90% of my drawings were of Anemone and to this day, I absolutely adore her and thinking about her. aka I would constantly contemplate the horrible situation she was in and how that led to her becoming worse before she finally had someone else she could truly confide in and the opportunity to make healthy connections with those around her.

Jerboa III: Loved her story and understood her reasons for acting in book 14. Her relationship with Glacier made me really happy and I headcanon that both were in a qpr.

Tempest: Absolute beast of a character. I am sad that she was a very short-lived character. Very iconic and I love thinking about how she rose through the ranks to become commander.

Kindle: Interesting background character who is related to a more well-known side character (Six-claws). I wish we got to see more of her in the books in general.

Arctic: His presence in my brain is parasitic. I love him but thinking about him gives me poison damage (literal). A very angry character and I'm pretty sure my enjoyment of Arctic stems from the same reason I love Anemone. I also think a lot about the situation he was in. I need him out of my head get him out get him out get him out I hate that he's there rotting in the recesses of my mind. I need him OUT.
