They each face 24 years in prison.

Notorious GOP operatives Jacob Wohl and Jack Burkman, who have a “known reputation for spreading misinformation,” allegedly “created and funded a false robocall discouraging mail-in voting that targeted Detroit and other urban areas.” Their robocall falsely told minority voters, especially African-Americans, that “their personal information will be part of a public database that will then be used by police if they vote by mail.”

“The CDC is even pushing to give preference for mail in voting to track people for mandatory vaccines. Don’t be (inaudible) into giving your private information to the man. Stay safe, and beware of vote by mail.”

This large-scale robocall campaign was specifically “aimed at suppressing the minority vote ahead of the 2020 election.” Wohl and Burkman have each been charged with four felonies: intimidating voters, conspiracy to commit an election law violation, using a computer to commit an election law crime, and using a computer to commit a conspiracy crime.

Manchmal weiß ich gar nicht so richtig wohin ich gehöre... Also klar, ich weiß wo ich wohne, weiß wo ich mich wohl fühle und ich weiß natürlich auch wo mein zu Hause ist,..

Aber ich meine dieses andere Gefühl,.. dieses, das man verspürt wenn man fühlt, dass man richtig ist, dort wo man ist. Zugehörig, angekommen. Mehr als dieses wohlig warme Gefühl, als wenn man an zu Hause denkt.

Ich meine dieses,.. Eben dieses, dass man sich endlich überall, egal wo man ist, einfach glücklich, zufrieden und angekommen fühlt.

An dem richtigen Ort. Zu der richtigen Zeit. Mit den richtigen Menschen.

Pete Buttigieg was falsely accused of sexual assault in a stunt concocted by conspiracy theorist Jacob Wohl

The alleged plot quickly fell apart.

A 21-year-old college student named Hunter Kelly appeared to publish a Medium post on Monday alleging that Pete Buttigieg, the mayor of South Bend, Indiana and 2020 Democratic presidential candidate, sexually assaulted him earlier this year.

But Kelly told The Daily Beast later on Monday that he didn't write the post and that the allegations, which didn't include any specifics and are uncorroborated, were made up.

Separately, an anonymous Republican source told The Daily Beast that the conservative lobbyist Jack Burkman and the internet-famous conspiracy theorist Jacob Wohl had attempted to persuade multiple conservative young men to lodge false sexual-assault allegations against Buttigieg.

The Daily Beast said the source provided an audio recording in which Burkman and Wohl attempted to persuade the source to make false sexual-assault allegations against Buttigieg.
