I exchanged the metal inlay of my new (light-weight, breezy) wrist-splint with the metal inlay of my favourite (padded, sturdier) wrist splint and I swear I’m never going back!!
This new “hybrid” is so perfect, I’m getting emotional
My other “summer option” is using bandages (the martial arts variety) since they are less stuffy and are very versatile but I prefer a splint over a support bandage, usually.

Can we see the baby?
In a while :)

(In truth, I’ve currently got a wrist splint on, I drew too much and I’m taking a little break from drawing. I’ll definitely get a drawing out of Atropa once my wrist is better though! :3)

12. Dress down a little black dress or other neutral formal staple
Okay, so this was actually gonna be number four--make a formal piece into a casual outfit--but then I realized that this dress is the only “neutral” formal thing I own, so I decided I was actually doing the LBD prompt instead. (I’ve worn it once before, but that time only the skirt was showing and also it didn’t photograph well.) I’ll probably use the red dress I wore to the opera for prompt number four.
Anyway, yay! I finally took photos somewhere that wasn’t just up against the outside wall of my room again! I’ve been defaulting to that spot when I’m in a hurry, or if it’s super bright out, but I really do want to wander around more. My college has a really beautiful campus.
[Image description: one full-body photo of a young woman (me) with bobbed pink hair. One side is held back with a silver clip shaped like two overlapping stars. I am standing in front of a bunch of tall yellow flowers (goldenrods) as well as some shorter, light purple ones (some kind of daisy). I am also holding a sprig of the light purple flowers in my right hand. I am holding a metallic pink cane in my left hand. I have a black wrist splint on my right wrist. I’m wearing a black shirt (actually a dress with only the bodice showing) with small, fluttery sleeves and a shallow V-neck. The dress has tiny white polka dots on it. It is tucked into a layered, olive green skirt that hits a few inches below the knee. Under the skirt, I have on black tights. I’m wearing black-and-grey sneakers with white soles. I have a gold-framed cameo brooch pinned to the left (my left, viewer’s right) side of my shirt/dress. It has a pinkish-orange background with a white silhouette of a woman’s head and shoulders. I’m also wearing a bracelet with beads shaped like various colorful fruits. I have on pastel orange lipstick. As always, I’m wearing my round black glasses.]
Here's one for the "honest studyblr": no fancy stationery or gorgeous lettering, no beautifully clear desk or rainbow props. Just me and my nonfunctioning hand* trying to take some notes. *Thanks, pain, for kicking in almost immediately after the start of term. Really helpful.
Hello Dark-cast my old friend~ Okay! So...i hurt my wrist, we belive it is carpal tunnel so i got this wrist splint to ease the pain but i wont be writing for a while maybe for a week or two.
