I didn’t want to write any thing about the Harry and Megan thing but I have to say, for myself more than anything that Megan is a strong women. Probably one of the strongest alive.
It’s true that once you start setting personal boundaries, gain self respect and start distancing from the problematic people in your life, you start to be cast in a dark light. People CANT STAND an independent women with a back bone. They will call you attention seeking when you silently pay your dues and do good or when you finally speak your truth. They shout about how you are cold, calculated and a bully because you have standards most can’t meet and you put your own well-being first. One becomes “damned if you do and damned if you don’t”
These kinds of people only want to add fuel to the fire that grows closer to your very being. They want you to burn. No matter what.
Lowkey I relate to her,
I know how easy it is to be painted a bully when you’re being bullied. I know how easy it is for people to only see your reactions and condemn you as the “problem”. I know how easy it is for people to say “you’re the common factor in these problems” rather than admit to a bunch of vultures going after a target.
Once one attacks the others jump in because they have back up. Another voice. Alliances.
It’s so frustrating because I can’t explain how much perspective matters and how much a situation and perspective can be altered.
We don’t have “influencer culture” for no reason.
This is so much deeper than just a girl with an attitude. Ignorance is a killer. Don’t listen to the news.
