October âđŒ challenge: Walks in the forest Autumn always make me think of those beautiful forests in Bermont. I suppose I have them idealised, but they make the perfect dream gate away. A cozy jumper, nice warm shoes, and every afternoon ahead to take a walk in the forest, surrounded by the reds, the oranges and browns of the season and the leaves crunching below my feet. @creativepromptsforwriting #creativepromptsforwriting #writing #prompts #inspiration #writingprompts #writingadvice #writinginspirations #writingexercise #writingmotivation #writingcommunity #writeblr #writingprompt #writersoninstagram #october #writinginspo #ChezAgneswritings #walksforest #autumn #otoño #chezagnesautumn #otoñochezagnes #mywritings #creativewriting #relatos #relatosChezAgnes #misrelatos #microrelatos (en Madrid, Spain) https://www.instagram.com/p/CV-HqRqjkOd/?utm_medium=tumblr
The past comes to haunt
Bonkai imagine đ
Sweat kissed bonnies chestnut skin as she awoke with a raucous scream. She didnât understand what rolled off her tongue until she was fully conscious. Her blue blanket on the side of her bed, pillows bedraggled around, and her hair sticking sweetly to her face. Kai.
Malachai Parker. A name she hasnât spoke aloud for more than 10 years. A name that haunted her until she shattered, leaving shards of herself everywhere. Even after all the time passed she was still searching for the pieces she lost.
âIt was just a dream..â she tried to calm herself with a breathing technique. Closing her eyes she Inhaled..1..2..3..4...Now she Exhaled..1..2..3.- The Bennettâs peace was interrupted by a cough, making her brown eyes open.
âDid you miss me?â The one and only Kai Parker stood tall over the end of her bed, waving at her with a face full of mischief. Bonnie couldnât bring herself to say his name.
Just prounouncing a syllable of the bewitched would cause a tsunami of destruction that she didnât need. Instead she sat still, hoping the nightmare would be over.
âThis isnât real.â Her fingers raised to her arm and she pinched. A sharp pain shot through her making her shake.
Shake from Anger.Resentment.relief....
âOh itâs so real bonster. Iâm here, flesh and bones- well more like..â Kai trailed off trying to think of the perfect words.
âA Poltergeist!â He picked up the nearest object and threw it above her head, giving her only a second to duck.
âMotus!â Slipped from between her teeth and the man flew back.
âOoo bonster!â Kai let out a seductive growl. âWomen do get better with age.â
Bonnie was disgusted and her face was full of rage. Her legs were slipping off her bed and walking towards her rival before she could even think.
âWhy are you here?â She didnât hesitate to put her hand to his throat with a threatening squeeze.
âI donât know Bon Bon why donât you tell me?â His stubbled face slid closer to hers. A familiar smirk played on his lips. Bonnies hand tightened.
âStop playing games..â she wouldnât allow his name to poison her tongue. Letting his name dance around her mouth would make this too real.
âYou know I love games but this isnât one. Last time I checked Alaric decapitated me.â The Bennett loosened her grip in shock giving The Parker time to grab her wrists and flip them.
âI like this position much better.â Kais groin pressed against bonnies. His calloused hand wrapped firmly around her tiny throat.
â So tell me Bonster... what did you do this time?â The mans hand glowed a bright red as he began to siphon the womenâs neck.
âI-I didnât do anything.â Bonnie chocked grabbing at his hand.
âWell Bon Bon one minute I was dead and the next... POOF!â Kai dramatically made an explosion with his free hand.
âIâm here!â He leaned further into Bonnie, his body weight slowly starting to crush the lean girl.
âI mean Iâm not mad, but I wanna know why.â Kai continued talking, letting his hand slip from her.
âI donât know.â Bonnie stood her ground. âWhy would I want you here? You disgust me.â
âOooh Bonster.â Kai dipped his head into the crook of her neck. âDonât make me blush.â As he began to nuzzle his nose against her,his fangs ascended from his gums.
âIncendia!â Fire arose on Kais arm in a quick wave giving Bonnie enough time to kick him off and stand.
âTsss tsss.â The man patted at his arm trying to distinguish bonnies bright burning flame. His skin smelt of burned flesh and his once pale tone a charred black.
âYouâre always being so naughty, it turns me on.â Kai followed bonnies actions and stood up. His usual playful smirk much darker.
âI was gonna be nice but..â he trailed off before pouncing on Bonnie once again. But as he reached for her delicate flesh he froze.
âI was going to play nice but I shouldâve known... Kai Parker doesnât play nice.â Bonnie let the name roll out her mouth, the poison she thought she would taste was sweet like candy. Her fist squeezed tight and Kais throat closed, his breathing staggering.
âF-f-fuck Bonster.â He chocked out
âI donât know whatâs going on here but so you know..â Bonnie clenched her fist until she heard a snap. Kai laid on her bedroom floor with a broken neck.
âI will always have the upper hand!â She spit towards his limp body.
âYou missed my mouth monster.â The limp man was now sitting up making Bonnies teeth clench and her anger boil over. Kai noticed and smirked.
âIâm dead bonster, I have the upper hand. Quick recovery!â He commented.
âIâll find a way to get rid of you for good...â Bonnie was now walking away from the heretic, her arms swaying at her side.
âCan we do this tomorrow? Iâm tired..â she plopped her butt on her bed, shortly her legs followed. Kai looked at her with a playful smile and curious eyes
âOnly if I can sleep on the bed too.â The Bennett scoffed before rolling her body to the right side of the bed. Too tired to fight she responded.
âGet in and shut up.â Kai quickly made his way to the bed, stumbling as he tried to get his shoes off.
âI knew you liked me.â He teased as he finally settled on the left bed side.
âShut up Kai, before I make you.â The mans arm snaked around bonnies waist, his mouth hovered her ear and his breath sent shivers down her spine.
âIs that an invitation ?â Bonnie scoffed as she shoved her elbow into his rib.
âIâll make you sleep on the floor.â Kai took that as a challenge and grabbed bonnies waist once again. Squishing his body closer to hers.
âYouâll make me do nothing..â bonnies face was heating up quickly, from anger and embarrassment. This man has done so much to her and she still felt something towards him.
âKai..â she warned, her hand hovering over his.
âBonster..â his face now snuggled into the crook of her neck and his lips grazed softly over her skin. Bonnie let out a quiet gasp as goosebumps raised on her flesh.
âStop..â but she didnât move to make him
âI donât think you want me to.â Kai gently placed a kiss on the edge of her jawline before trailing down to her shoulder, repeating his action.
âK-Kai.â Bonnie tried to sound stern but her throat dried making her voice crack.
âMhmm.â He was now biting her shoulder enough to leave minuscule indents. Bonnie hummed in satisfaction, slowly letting her guard down.
âTold you so.â Just as quick as Kai started, he stopped. Letting go of the woman he rolled over to the other side of the bed.
âYouâre a prick.â She mumbled gripping her blanket closer to her shaken body.
âIâm your prick.â Kai smirked
âNever in a million years..â
âWeâll see about that Bonster.â Bonnie smiled before letting her eyes close.
âNight Kai.â
âGoodnight Bonnie.â Kai let himself relax, setting his eyes on the woman next to him. She was so beautiful and strong. She didnât let anyone mess with her,not even him. Kai Parker admires Bonnie Bennett. For her courage, her strength, and most of all, her ability to care so much.
Even for someone like him.
A/n I FINALLY COMPLETED IT! Iâm sorry itâs not to your expectations đ„ș i had another version but it was HELLA OC(more than this)
I hope your days/ nights are going well!
My dm is always open if anybody needs to talk!
It sits there, on the top shelve. The 5th one, it's squared, and green. Made out of cardboard so it lasts longer but soft enough for a child to hold, small enough for a child to hold. Filled with words, and pictures, laughter and memories, it's was her first book, it continues to be her favourite book. It's pages worn out from the continuous use and mistreatment of a small child.
A book.
A simple book.
A lovely book.
A book called "But Not The Hippopotamus".
I wish I could crawl back through the sands of time
and settle myself amongst the bones ofÂ
my grandmother great grandmother great great,
sift through what remains to find the break
the split, the schism, the breach
which formed the hidden trail of rage that bloomed
in my mother, in my sister,
in me.
was I broken in the womb?Â
were my cells already crying out for wholenessÂ
as they knit themselves from cosmic dustÂ
the way they scream now? or was I born whole
into my motherâs arms, to gorge myself on
her milk, her sorrow, her heartache,
until I overflowed, boiled over,
and nearly drowned in myself?Â
if I could find my way back to the age
when my words were nothing but raucous squeals,Â
babbles and coos, a tongue untrained,
would I recognize myself?Â
or would I sense a totality of the mind,Â
a sense of ease in my own skin
that somewhere came untetheredÂ
as my body grew its roots into this worldâs soil?Â
If I could hear the cries of my mother -Â
her infant cries, new, cracking her worldâs silence;
her childhood cries, seeking her own mother;
her womanly cries, carrying her to my father;
would I recognize the familiar stinging undercurrentÂ
when pain is filtered through the raw pulpÂ
of a heart thatâs torn itself to piecesÂ
and sewn itself anew a thousand times?
then again, maybe it doesnât matter
whether my DNA has been threaded with theÂ
brokenness of my ancestors. maybe if I could crawl back
and settle myself amongst their bones,Â
my family would send me home, a kissÂ
pressed to my cheek, a promise
whispered like the sound of the sea through a shell:
the healing will be worth it.Â
WRITING PROMPT #66
In a matter of short minutes, he picked up his pen a multitude of times, but no more than a couple of empty words coloured the paper. He sighed, hands ruffling his hair, tree bark eyes squinting up at the smallish lights circling his office supplies. âOh, stop it,â He demanded in the softest tone, a small smile growing on his worn-out face.
Exercise #1: cold morning
She was going ahead through the seasons first fog, even if the trees where still dressed up as in summer, missing her feets beeing touched in the morning by fresh air, coming from outside the window, while the city still was waking up slowly.
Now the feets where already hurting, the wished breeze would have been a warmer one, and the eyes did hurt because of the many hours spent in front of the tablet, the day before, working until late.
It was like feet and eyes had barely been sleeping, while the rest of her body tried it out, wandering from one part of the bed to the other.
So she was walking down the street towards her new job, - actually not even a real job, just an experience - thinking about how much time was wasted this summer, and how much of it she was still wasting.
