Iceland told me i was lame.
So i felt obligated to remind him my flag fell from the sky during a war in Estonia and made me win it.
Did his flag fall from the sky during a war in Estonia and made him win it?
I don't think so.

Person 1: You should talk to [Person 2].
Me: I don't know them.
Person 1: Yes you do! They were at [event(s) you attended].
Me: Well, yes. I know OF them.
Person 1: Then you should talk to them.
Me: But I haven't been introduced.
Person 1: .....
I was born in the wrong generation. take me back to the 70s please.
Once upon June 3rd ...
So I’ve come to the conclusion that people just don’t give a f*#k about anything these days. What happened to morals and values? Pardon me for having some respect for myself and not giving into societal expectations. I was born in the wrong time period. I’m convinced.
In my dream I find myself in an old creaky house by the seashore, the moonlight falling through the mangled shutter like a stream of pearlescent stars. Even with the miniscule breeze from the window and the harmony of far off waves, the room smells dank, as though I had just entered someone's attic with all their forgotten wares cultivating dust and stale air. Like in my waking life for the past week, my head feels peculiar, brain stuffed with fog and an unnerving sense of happiness. Out of the corner of my eye I see the light flicker against something black, but when I focus in that direction there is nothing there, just old cedar floorboards glowing in the moonbeam.
Cliff looks at me with furrowed brow, arms crossed, heart held in, from across the room. When he speaks the deepness in his voice startles my arm hairs on end. "It just doesn't seem right, you know? To be stuck where you are when you want so much to live in the past. Yes, a terrible misfortune, a crushing defeat, that emptiness. I mean, I don't disagree with you, there are many like you who desire the desert sands of time that would allow you to become who you were meant to be. You deserve better than living in a trap, you deserve the time and world where you feel you belong."
I'm repeating what he's saying in my head to help process it and combat the brain fog and that damn lethargic feeling. I suddenly hear a sound behind me near the door, like the gentle tap of fingernails. I glance around but there's nothing there. I must be imagining things. I can't even formulate a reply.
He steps forward and awkwardly pats me on the head, trying to be tender. I soon notice one of my hairs fall from my forehead and drift to the ground, instantly lighting azure flame on contact. I can feel myself lifting, I'm waking up, the scene is fading like morning dew in the sun.
My eyes flicker as I rollover in my bed, mentally preparing myself for another day. 'Ugh' is the only word that comes to mind. I drag myself to the bathroom.
Meanwhile, in a parallel universe, unbeknownst, another version of myself has just gone to sleep on a starship and begun dreaming of a morning shower that will drown the cries of an unfullfilled soul.
"What a nightmare," he thinks, pleased that this is just a dream.

He. Does. Not. Say. This. In. The. Book. Ever.
He does not stutter in the book. They do not have a UST moment or an almost kiss in the book.
It's fine to cite the film, but do not sully the book with this quote.
Do you ever think you were born in the wrong time period?
