May I request more yandere engineer pretty please!! I love how you write him and I feel like it's super duper accurate! I feel like he's so good at manipulating and gaslighting reader! Like he won't harm you, but he'll definitely make you lose your mind in doubting yourself but it's okay.. He'll be there for when you breakdown :3
Decided to write a oneshot for this, thanks for the request!! I'm glad my yandere engie feels accurate :3 I had a lot of fun writing this!!!

Every day you woke up in this small room, listening to the sounds of your captor — or as he calls himself; your boyfriend – working away with loud clangs of metal you grew a little closer to losing yourself. Your thoughts continue to scramble the longer you're kept in here.
When was the last time you saw sunlight? Was it that fateful day where the BLU Engineer gave in and kidnapped you? No, no, he let you into his workshop which had windows a little bit ago during the daytime. You couldn't tell how many days or even weeks had passed since he last let you out of your room and into the workshop. He purposefully kept all time telling objects away from you, ignoring you when you asked what time it was or what was the current date.
The blanket you had wrapped around you was soft, keeping you from shivering. Despite living out in the middle of the badlands of New Mexico, the BLU managed to keep your room at a chilly temperature, turning down the thermostat consistently and always keeping it below 70°F. You had heard some time before your kidnapping that cooler temperatures can keep people and animals placated. It seems he knew this too and decided to try it out on you. You'd be lying if you said it didn't work.
Right now the thing you missed most was the New Mexico sun beating down on your skin, the sounds of explosions and gun fire right around the corner as you took out another person from the BLU team. If you sit still and close your eyes for long enough you can retreat into your head and pretend you're on the battlefield right now, taking off the limbs of the BLU Engineer currently sitting outside your door.
Your stomach grumbles loudly. The food the BLU Engineer had given you this morning was still sitting by the door, untouched. You were refusing to eat for some semblance of control over what happened in your life. It felt better than going along with whatever he said, you had tried to follow all his requests to get him to let you out before. Now knowing after all this time that that wasn't going to happen no matter what you did. No one was coming for you. No one was going to save you. Your captor would never let you go.
A rough southern accent pulled you out of your momentary spiral. "You alright in there sugar bee?" The BLU Engineer knocked on the metal door, a gentle sound compared to his previous working noises.
You refused to answer his question. Staying silent seemed like a much better option. If he actually wanted an answer out of you he'd have to force it. Not that he would, you had learned he rather hated physically hurting you. Even minor bruises left from his rough hands when he carried you off the battlefield for the first and last time caused apologies to spill from his mouth for days.
BLU Engineer sighed and leaned onto the door. "It's been a while since I gave you your breakfast, you eaten any of it?"
His question was again met with silence as you stared holes into the metal door separating the two of you.
"You mind if I come in there and make sure you're eatin'? Wouldn't want ya t'starve under my watch." His voice is soft, careful, like he's walking on eggshells around you. All things considered he probably is. Last time he let you out of your room you screamed at the top of your lungs in hope of someone hearing you.
You still don't respond to him, draping the blanket over your face in the hopes that if he comes in you can ignore his presence.
As if on cue the BLU Engineer opens the door to your room, shutting it behind him as he takes a few steps in. You were sitting in the far corner, surrounded and covered by your blankets, pillows, and stuffed animals, all of which the man before you had gifted. If he hadn't already known your tendency to hide in the blankets he would've thought you'd have escaped, you passed as a very convincing pile of comfort.
The tray he had given you earlier stood untouched next to the door, exactly where he had left it. Not even your favorite parts of the sandwich had been picked at. A deep, frustrated sigh escaped him.
"Y'gotta eat, sugar bee. It's been two days since you've eaten anythin' substantial, you'll get sick if you keep this up." He sat down right in front of you, tray in his lap.
Finally you spoke up, a weak, "No," came from under the blanket, just barely loud enough for the BLU to hear in your completely silent room. All he did was sigh.
"I'm just tryin' t'take care of y-"
"You kidnapped me and locked me in this room."
BLU Engineer was silenced following your snap at him. You didn't dare try to take a peak past your blankets at his face. You knew he was upset. Though mostly you'd just see the face of a disappointed dad staring back at you rather than that of someone wanting to kill you.
"I was saving you from the gruesome fightin' out there. You're too precious t'be in a war over nothin' good like this." You had heard him say things like this so many times. Over and over he'd tell you he was saving you, that he was protecting you from the outside world. That he actually loved you.
Some days you found yourself believing him. You had never been treated so nicely, so gently, like you were porcelain. Near constant gifts berated you, things you had wanted your entire life, things that made your life comfortable, kept you from being bored while in this room. Occasionally you did feel grateful, when your bones ached from the tiredness the ability to sleep in no matter the day felt nice. But after so much time spent in isolation anyone would start to feel resentment.
"I'm too precious to be locked up in this room," Your muffled voice sounds from under the soft material, still hiding you away from the BLU team member. Today felt like a good day to test how far his pacifism would stretch for you. "Still you keep me here with no sense of time, little to no sunlight, and no interaction with anyone but you." Words scathing on your tongue as you spoke. It felt good. Nice even. Finally getting something back at him.
Pulling the covers off of your head you scowl at him. "None of this was to protect me. It was for you. For you to feel ownership over me. To feel like you secured me. To make sure no one else stole me from you."
He stared at you, blankly. Deep in his eyes you could see his frustration growing just a bit. How much patience could he possibly fucking have? Unlucky you, he seemed to hold strong against your read of him and he stayed silent.
"Don't act like you're some fucking hero for kidnapping me. Don't act like you saved me when all you did was trap me in a gilded bird cage." The longer you ranted the more angry you got, boiling over in a mess of insults and antagonizing. He deserved every second of it.
When you finally stopped to get a hold of your breathing the BLU Engineer stuffed a piece of the sandwich he had made for you into your mouth.
"Eat. Y'got a long while ahead'a ya, sugar bee."

Over the course of the next few days the Texan completely ignored you, save for the extremely small meals he would bring you at irregular times. He wouldn't speak a word to you, not even look at you. All he did was open the door, place the tray of food there that usually consisted of something small like a granola bar, then close the door again.
You don't know how much time passed. Even when he opened the door he had seemed to block out the windows in his workshop, leaving no sunlight nor moonlight filtering in. No clock ticking. No watch on your wrist or his. Food brought at seemingly random times. It was worse than it was before.
It felt like forever since you had someone talk to you. Since Engie talked to you. Not even a note or a drawing, a scrap of interaction was left for you. No more gifts. No more comfort food. No more movie nights and no more time in his workshop, soaking in the ability to see outside.
You started to have panic attacks when you woke up from sleep. Another day. Or maybe it was night? You were never sure if you were sleeping during the day or the night anymore.
At some point you just couldn't take it anymore. You leaned up against the metal door separating you and the Texan, sitting and still draped in your blankets. It almost felt like he had turned the temperature down even more, but it was hard to tell.
"Engie please. I'm sorry I didn't mean it," Your voice cracked from not using it as you pleaded with him. Even with your voice so small you knew he could hear it. You knew he was in his workshop, yet no sounds of the typical projects he worked on played.
More words tumbled from your mouth, near meaningless apologies and prayers in hope he'll finally say something to you. A few stray tears slid down your cheeks unwillingly. You didn't want to cry. "Please, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean it, I'm sorry, I miss you," The only thing that cut you off was the sound of the handle to the door you were leaning on shifting.
You scrambled away from it, still fearful that Engie might do something to harm you. His face looked sad, like he hadn't gotten good rest in a while. While the eyebags were always a permanent fixture when he didn't have his goggles on, something about them now made them look worse. Was this because of you?
Slowly he crouched down in front of you like he was trying to coax a stray cat near him, you could hear a few pops from his knees as he did. In a hushed voice he talked, "It's okay, sugar bee. You didn't know, it's okay. I forgive you," His reassurances continued as he set a gentle hand on your shoulder, opening the other arm for a hug.
You took the opportunity with all your touch starved self, letting him wrap around you like a second blanket, warm and comforting. Maybe this would be okay. You were wrong before but Engie said it didn't matter anymore.
The Texan wiped away some of your tears before setting a kiss on the top of your head. "I love you, sugar bee."
"I love you, Engie.”
