Oh, that's ABSOLUTELY my rainbow dragon shawl. It turned out beautifully, I'm so proud of the beads, and as a bonus it took first place in its division in the county fair.

I realized I didn’t have enough yarn to complete a project. The LYS where I’d bought it was sold out. I ordered two more skeins online and figured I’d work out how to blend it in and make a color change look intentional.

It came today and … friends. It’s the exact same dye lot. 🤯

Having chronic illness is such bullshit. Today I am exhausted, aching, and having chills because I overdid it yesterday.

You know what I did yesterday that was so over ambitious?

I thought really hard about how knitting works.

Yup. I knit a few rows, crocheted a few rows, and mentally - MENTALLY - sketched out the path that the yarn takes in each method and thought deeply in 3D about the topology of each method and how they’re different and similar.

And apparently that was too much, because I’m having a flare up and PEM today. FML.

I'm realizing now I never posted photos of the finished blanket I made a yearish ago! This was for my niece for her second xmas, and I'm suuuuuper proud of how it turned out. got the stitch pattern from a crochet book and made the rest up myself!

I finished my Hibernation House Socks from Larkspurknits and I love them! I am a huge fan of cozy handknit socks, and the folded mohair cuff really takes these to the next level. 🧦 My husband has already requested his own pair and has picked out the colorway he wants. 🥰😍

🧶 I knit these socks using our Merino Fingering base (100% superwash merino wool, 2-ply) in my hand dyed 'Barn Owl' colorway. The mohair is Knit Picks Aloft in the Oat colorway. 🧶

So this is it. I'm a few woven in ends away from being done with this thing. I started it like 3 1/2 years ago. Holy shamoley.
