I'm realizing now I never posted photos of the finished blanket I made a yearish ago! This was for my niece for her second xmas, and I'm suuuuuper proud of how it turned out. got the stitch pattern from a crochet book and made the rest up myself!

Inspired by @ramboknits It’s been a rough go for knitting; Hundreds of patterns piled up but no drive to actually work on anything. I finally started something.
hey alexa, how do you ask a friend what the circumference of their hand is so that you can get the gauge right on the fingerless gloves you want to make them without sounding super weird or accidentally giving away the gift?
I feel like I get second sock syndrome on any project with multiple parts.
Like what??? I just knit the front and now there’s a back??? And TWO (2) SLEEVES?!
That moment when...
you realize that, with all the money you've spent on yarn and yarnbending stuffs, you could have made the trip to (and from) your hometown AND gotten your next planned tattoo...
but yarn is life, so you're not even mad.
The yarn was been wound into a cake! The new needles (in size 2 and 1.5) have been bought! Pattern has been printed! Let's get this party started!
first finished project of 2026!
Finally finished sewing in the ends (I may have been putting that off for about 10 months, the blankets been sitting finished aside from that).
Heirloom blanket for my 1 year old Niece that she’ll be getting in a few days, made out of spare yarn from a friend. Grabbed the stitch pattern from an old book I have and modified it a bit. It’s about a twin sized blanket, and also my first blanket project. Worsted weight yarn and 5.5mm hook.
