Yes of course! I love repulsed characters because I like making them dramatic

When They're Love Repulsed

"Absolutely not! We do not use such language in this household!" "I don't even live here!" "Doesn't matter. Honorary household members get time out too."

"I think love is very important. Especially for developing children." "Ew! Why would you expose those innocent children to such a thing?!"

"Isn't that couple so sweet? There so in love!" "And for a second I was willing to tolerate their nose touching. Now look what you did."

"I think I'm in love." "I think you hit your head." "Well when would I have done that?" "I don't know. Should I hit it again?"

Happily contributing to the conversation until someone brings up love. Then they slowly phase out. Going silent to slipping on their headphones to walking out of the room entirely

Being tempted to spray that one person who's in love with someone new every other week with a water hose to get them to stop talking

“I love you!” “Please stop.”

A friend comes over and suggests they watch a hallmark romance film. They briefly consider kicking them out for even thinking they would want to watch such a thing

Their friend suggested this song they claim to be obsessed with now while they go on a road trip. The second they heard the word love, they instantly cut it off. “Hey! I thought you were gonna give it a chance!” “I can’t take it.”

Feeling physically disgusted when someone starts talking about what being in love feels like before eventually saying “Can we please talk about something else?”

“You know, you don’t have to be like that about it…” “Right. And I don’t change my entire personality to be based around something that makes someone near me uncomfortable the second they’re within earshot of me.”

Cringing when someone tells their story of their most loving relationship in life and how it failed thinking “I am so glad that’s not me.”

When They're Loveless

"At the end of the day, all you need is love." "No thank you."

They don't really know what to say when their friend says they love them. They don't want to hurt their feelings and not say it back but they also don't feel right saying it at all

For once, their neighbor isn't spouting nonsense and purposely singing at the top of their lungs that "everybody loves somebody"

They joke with another loveless person about love not being real and find that there is indeed an allo among them

They were surprised when they said "I appreciate you" instead of saying "I love you" like everyone else does

It feels like a huge relief to meet another loveless person. Finally, someone who actually understands. Not just someone who pretends to and then finds that one thing to say "but everyone loves this!"

"Gotta love your irritating spouse, ya know?" "No. Not at all."

"You know what they say. Love yourself before you love anyone else." "I don't know about all the love and loving but I do know I'm a pretty cool person. Then there's everyone else."

"You know, you telling me about lovelessness really changed my perspective on things. I'm glad you explained it to me." "Of course. That's why being loveless is the best thing you could possibly be."

They didn't really like that everyone assumed that when they said they loved someone, it meant it was romantic. The love they gave was not limited to any one category. Their love was meant for everyone they were willing to give it to in whatever form that felt right

Their love for each other couldn't easily be understood by the naked, uninformed eye. And they were okay with that. It only matters that they knew what their love meant to each other

There's nothing like aroallo4aroallo love. That was something they've happily accepted since they realized their orientation

Their love wasn't "normal" and they were proud to say that it wasn't. Normal was boring and meant to be defied. Being openly weird about it is the only correct way, if you ask them.

Having a squish on someone but not wanting to have a deeper bond because they don't want their attraction to go away

They have a crush on this new person and it turns out they return their feelings! They make sure to explain that as they become closer, their romantic attraction will fade but all other attraction will remain. They're really happy to learn that their potential partner is okay with that

Alterously yearning for the barista at their favorite coffee shop. They make the brave move to ask for their number. Much later, they enter a senseship

Developing aesthetic attraction for their new coworker. As it fades, their platonic attraction becomes more clear and they become close friends

They had what was supposed to be a one night stand with this person when they were attracted to them. But their attraction quickly went away when they went out for tea the next morning. Now they're in an alterous relationship

Having sensual attraction towards someone new but it fades away after they develop queerplatonic attraction

"I once wanted you to be my friend but calling you my brother feels way cooler now."

Imagining having a partner and then realizing there’s a reason why they don’t have one

Not understanding why someone would be offended/upset that they don’t have a partner

“You don’t have a partner? That’s so sad!” “What the hell are you talking about?”

“Who you celebrating Valentine’s Day with?” “I don’t celebrate that. I celebrate Black History Month.”

Yes, they do love their friends but partner is a heavy term to use on any of them to say the least…

Everyone picks at them for being in love with their friend. The truth is, they were. But they couldn’t be their partner. Especially not the partner their friend needed. As long as their friend was happy, they were happy
