Decorating the holiday Devias is my favorite drawing tradition that I do every 2-3 years instead of yearly oops

These are my Wakfu ocs, who I’ve been drawing for quite a while now, but I think I never explained anything about them here.

Devias: 

A mysterious being, looks like a human but acts like anything but. Walks around aimlessly, eats from the ground, fights anything that rubs him the wrong way, never sleeps at all, and the weirdest part, speaks with three different voices. Something went terribly wrong with this Zobal and now, he is permanently possessed by three Shushus that are trapped in his masks… but they don’t seem to know that either. Devias is convinced he is a single creature and a human being, but the fact is that he is a shambling meat puppet controlled by three demons at the same time. Devias refers to himself alternatively as “me” and “we”, and doesn’t notice when he does. Whenever he has a big shift on emotions, he changes mask, or more exactly, they crawl their way into his face and plant themselves in it with their root-like limbs. He doesn’t seem to have a clear recollection of his previous life, as his memories and the ones from the Shushus always get mixed up, and is always trying to figure himself out. At least they have an agreement on what their name is: Devias Essegar Haxolere Ruet-Draug Esdreel. He currently “lives” with Zasta as she feeds him and studies him, and since she doesn’t fear him, he doesn’t seem to mind her at all. Likes: Company, wandering, shiny things, Zasta, cooked food, looking around with his peripherical vision while standing completely still Dislikes: Being called a “monster”, being left alone, being forced to do things, noisy places with many people, people touching his masks (he gets a panic attack if he is separated from his masks, as not only do they contain parts of his souls, he loses his sense of “self”)

Zasta:

A Disciple of Otomai in training, this young bubbly and energetic girl is fearless and ready to take the world on. Member of a respected scientific family, she wants to make her parents proud and prove herself and adult, and therefore is currently on a field trip to Sufokia to study the local flora and fauna. Her matter of study on the very start were Kokokos and their enigmatic nocturnal habits, but since her study subjects were wrecked in… an accident, the responsible of this became her new study subject instead. This was a bizarre looking Zobal-like creature with a very long name, which she started calling “Devias” for short.With him she lived numerous adventures and learnt a lot about human nature, the demons from below and the true meaning of “self” and “soul”. Zasta has always had profound respect and love for her uncle, a lively man that never says “no” to an adventure and would show understanding and caring to any creature, no matter how dangerous or horrifying they may appear. Since that man has always been her role model, she just couldn’t let the opportunity to study something as unique as Devias pass by, even if he looked gross, terrifying or made children cry. She has made it her objective to understand the true nature of this monstrous being, and when she does, she is going to write it down in the family encyclopedia for the generations onwards to study. Zasta is not great at magic, but she is athletic and, like any Feca, has a very sturdy body. Therefore, she has specialized on melee combat, going as far as adapting ranged spells as auras for her fists, legs or body. She is a very capable fighter and knows monsters and creatures very well, therefore, she is always prepared to battle any enemy that may appear on her trips, as she knows their strengths and weaknesses. Likes: Fishing, playing uke, her uncle, spicy food, her parents, Snappers, being outdoors, having activities to fill her time Dislikes: Formalities, playing piano, acting “professional”, bitter food, staying still, children, having greasy hair (she doesn’t care much about the rest of her body, but her hair MUST be clean).

Devias Essegar Haxolere Ruet-Draug Esdreel

A bizarre creature with an uncanny presence, Devias resembles a ghoul closer than the masqueraider he’s supposed to be. Once a power-hungry huppermage, nowadays he’s more monster than human, reacting solely on instinct and attacking everything that rubs him the wrong way. Potentially extremely dangerous, but will not be confrontational unless provoked.The source of his oddities? the shushu trapped within the masks his soul is divided among. In spite (and perhaps because) of sharing his consciousness with three demons, Devias is convinced he’s a single entity, he has come to this conclusion by merging whatever memories can be salvaged from each “mind” into a single one, adopting the name Devias Essegar Haxolere Ruet-Draug Esdreel.A purposeless creature, he’s cursed himself to endlessly wander through the world of twelve until his form is no longer able to sustain him…or is he?

Ravin

Abandoned as a child and adopted into a circus, Ravin is a skilled acrobat. The "big brother" of the other orphans picked along the way, he's always been an emotional pillar to those around, rarely allowing himself to openly feel negative emotions in order to maintain face. A natural-born protector, he trained for years to become a masqueraider in an attempt to gain the strength he felt he lacked.Incredibly skilled, he's proven himself to be worthy of being Barja's bodyguard and confidant. He periodically sends a big part of his pay to the family that took him in. A complete air-head and shameless flirt, he tries his best to spread joy wherever he goes (Whether he realizes or not) Greatly enjoys the spotlight and has a bit of an inferiority complex he has yet to acknowledge
