Gala Dawn Bellwether
I was having problems figuring out what to dress her in, since her outfits weren't flashy. So I wasn't too sure what would work. Looked up some nice dresses and chose something I felt would work. Keep in mind, this is for my 'Gala Series', so it's got to be elegant.
So yeah we finally went to see Zootopia 2! I absolutely love the first one and actually went to see it twice when it was playing and have watched it may times since then. So I was very excited for the second one and I would have to say the second one was worth the wait! Also when we went to see this there was no little kids at the showing it was all adults and people in their late Teens which made it more enjoyable also.
Hopps (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin) and Wilde (voiced by Jason Bateman) are back on the case! and this movie doesn't miss a beat being it pretty much picks up right where the fist one ends. They are out to prove that they are truly a good pair and their first solved case was not a fluke as they discover a conspiracy that goes all the way back to the very creation of Zootopia itself!
but yeah the story does center alot on the history and creation of Zootopia and a mystery surrounding it and it does alot of world building and explores more of this world while at the same still works on the personal relationship/partnership of its main characters of Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde. This one also brings the inclusion of the reptile population into this movie and is an important part to the movie's mystery plot.
alot of new characters are introduced like the "Zebros" voiced by none other then CM Punk and Roman Reigns as well as many others like Patrick Warburton as the new Mayor Winddancer, Ke Huy Quan as Gary De'Snake, Danny Trejo as Jesús, Macaulay Culkin as Cattrick Lynxley, Ed Sheeran as Ed Shearin, Michael J. Fox as of course Michael J. The Fox and many more and of course all the returning cast Idris Elba,Nate Torrence,Raymond S. Persi, Shakira,Tommy Chong and more. Everyone did an amazing job bring their character to life on screen. The new character of Nibbles Maplestick (voiced by Fortune Feimster) actually reminded me of someone I know in person in the way they talked and acted. While watching that character I was thinking "that is such and such!" it made me think of them 100%
The animation for this was amazing! this is Disney at top form! the character design and animation. the set pieces and all the digital production design and details were all excellent! this plus an engaging interesting story that adds to the world and builds it out with emotional complexity, humor and heart is what you want to see from them.
Also much like the first movie this is kinda like a buddy comedy for the most part and I would have to say I did get a good laugh out of it and it did give me plenty of giggles at other parts I felt all the jokes and gags landed and all the various Easter eggs and references were awesome and fun!
This movie was great! and if you loved the first one as much as I did then you should see this because chances are you'll love this one too! and I do hope it get nominated for an Oscar and possibly win! I know it will probably have some good competition but still I think it deserves it.
Also don't forget there is a end credits scene that kinda teases what a possible Zootopia 3 might involve.
