GAY HANGING IN IRAN

This makes me sick.

I cannot stress how important it is that these issues are not ignored. The media doesn’t even pick it up, unless it’s a media source shaming other media - that’s when i see most of these articles surfacing.

I will never for the life of me, ever understand how liking or loving someone of the same sex is a problem? I really don’t get it. All the people who are ‘uncomfortable’ about the topic, or even worse to be around the gay person themselves, seriously worry me. Just because someone’s gay doesn’t mean that they’re going to fancy you, that’s like a straight man fancying ALL WOMEN. People dying because of Love takes this to a whole new level. It’s sickening and it’s important articles like this are spread like wildfire to make a positive change and to save innocent lives, who very much deserve to live life the way they want, even in alternative religious groups.

P.s. Don’t give me any bible bullshit. The bible and all religious scripts/texts were written by barbarous, primitive beings who have no concept of the world and how society has developed today. Heck, the bible taught us that if a man raped a girl, that man had to pay the victims father to reimburse for the sin committed. It doesn’t even stop there. There’s worse.

People need to stop using religion as an excuse to murder people because it doesn’t suit their preference, and the law must do more about it. Share this, make a difference.

“I was born in a small town in North Carolina, but my family moved north when we were young. After I graduated from college, I went back for a visit. I thought it would be fun to make a bit of a triumphant return to my hometown. I was driving a new car and had a City College sweatshirt, so I was feeling pretty good about myself. As soon as we arrived, we got out of the car to walk around a bit. We were acting a bit too self-assured. My brother started taking photos of signs that said ‘Negro Entrance.’ We were gone for a couple hours. When we got back, a young white teenage mechanic was shouting at us from across the street. ‘Don’t get in your car!’ he screamed. ‘Don’t get in your car!’ He brought his truck over and towed us back to his garage. He explained that he’d seen the police disconnect our muffler so they could pull us over and take us to jail. After he fixed our muffler, I drove all the way back to New Jersey and didn’t return for 40 years.”
