Juliet and Andyâs Plane Fight
So, a couple thoughts on this incident:

1. First off, according to a passenger who witnessed the whole thing, Juliet had been drinking. In the videos provided, her behavior backs that up. This honestly makes me so upset. Itâs evident that Andy had a past issue with alcohol and is now trying to fix that, and the fact that his âlovelyâ wife would get drunk around him is unbelievable. I donât drink, but if I did, and my husband was trying to stay sober, Iâd never drink around him out of respect, and simply because Iâd care for him. In my opinion, her getting drunk around Andy and on a flight tells me she has an alcohol problem too. Who knows, maybe sheâs really struggling. Under the alcohol, she could be a great personâŚbut if Andy wants to live his healthy new lifestyle, being married to an alcoholic isnât going to help.
2. The same passenger, as well as TMZ, claimed Juliet was hitting Andy. Again, pretty upsetting thing to hear. I hope this was a one time thing, but even if it was just a one time thing, thatâs still terrible and abuse. Maybe thatâs why he always looks so dead inside and shook in pictures with her. I donât want to make this thing out to seem more serious than it might be, but this is why Iâm hesitant to throw terms around like âgoalsâ and whatnot. As fans, we have no clue what goes on behind closed doors. I donât believe Andyâs in danger, but after this mess, Iâm pretty certain, at the very least, theyâre not right for each other, and at the very worst, thereâs some kind of abuse happening. Whether it be physical, emotional, or indirect like drinking while heâs trying to sober up, Julietâs a toxic partner.Â
3. Juliet was claiming that Andy broke her ribs, but there are a lot of things that make this not possible in my opinion.
-Theyâre on a crowded space like a plane, so itâd be hard to hide an altercation, especially one serious enough to break a personâs ribs. Someone wouldâve obviously seen this occur, yet nobody in the area has confirmed this happened. Even if passengers didnât want to say anything and get involved, a hardcore fight that resulted in broken ribs wouldnât have gone under the radar for the staff on the plane.Â
-My motherâs an ER nurse and has seen her fair share of broken ribs (and drunk people). I texted her a link to the video and she wrote back that thereâs no way Juliet would be moving around and talking so easily if her ribs were broken. She also said Juliet looked and sounded totally wasted.
-If Andy was acting violent enough to break her ribs, he wouldâve been escorted off, not Juliet. I donât believe gender has anything to do with this either. If Andy was abusing Juliet and broke her ribs, Iâm sure even the most misogynistic worker on the plane wouldâve wanted him dealt with. For safety reasons alone, they wouldâve stepped in. I mean, weâre very cautious on planes nowadays. Iâve read articles about people getting thrown off for safety reasons because they were swearing. I doubt an overtly violent man wouldâve been dismissed during a flight.
-The end of the TMZ article talks about what happened after the flight and not a single thing about a hospital visit was mentioned. Iâm pretty sure youâd need to see a doctor if you broke your ribs.Â
4. The saddest part to this all is how TMZ claims Juliet and Andy said everythingâs fine now. Everything is not fine. At the very least, Juliet has a drinking problem, and Andy shouldnât be influenced by that if heâs trying to work on his own issues with alcohol. Instead of glossing over this, if they truly were meant to be, theyâd be honest about what happened and work together on bettering things. But if I were in this position, Iâd never stay with a person who embarrassed me, hurt me, and disrespected my health. Unfortunately, thatâs easier said than done. And as I said above, being fans means weâll never truly know what goes on behind the social media, interviews, and concerts.Â
I donât like Juliet, but no one deserves to have to struggle with addiction. No one deserves to be hit either, though. I just hope things get sorted out for these two, but separately. Maybe they need to work on their own demons before taking on each otherâs.
