Nancy Drew games that take place over the course of one day/night must be so wild. Like, imagine you’re Henry Bolet managing your dead guardian’s estate, and your friend’s girlfriend pops by for a visit. Then a few hours later she’s unearthed over two dozen glass eyes, cracked a sealed crypt open, and found a valuable treasure. Oh, and also your housekeeper stole from you, attempted to bury someone alive, and may have killed your great uncle.

Or you’re about to get married, but your fiancé has vanished and you’re a little worried—but you’re trying to be chill about it. Your maid of honor shows up in the evening, and before morning she’s found not only your fiancé but a secret underground lab and an old woman who’s flown around the property her whole life using a jetpack. A rocket launch was also involved.

Said maid of honor also printed out all your wedding invitations, arranged the seating chart for the reception, ensured everyone at the local pub is fully sober, and learned to play the bodhran.
