Has anyone else ever noticed how in MHM... THE DUMBWAITER IS ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE HALLWAY!
On the second floor, it’s on the right side when you’re facing the back of the house. And on the first floor, it’s on the left. I know a lot of Nancy Drew Game houses don’t always make sense in their layouts but come on people!
Ok, rant over....
I got tired of the constant struggle of “Which Nancy Drew game do I want to play today” so to cure the boredom of my morning, I made a chart to help you decide which game to play based on mood/aesthetic/difficulty levels and other factors that may influence your choice. FUCK, I though it was just another lucky meme but LISTEN. Since a week ago I was waiting a phone call to confirm me if I got a job or not in my university. I reblogged this yesterday’s night “just for fun and because I don’t want any bagel to be mad with me”, and today’s afternoon, while I was losing my time as always, the professor I was supposed to work with called me and asked me for my personal information to start working with her.

Hi ignore my horrible painted nail BUT I was looking through this and did anyone figure out what the lil alien dude at the bottom is saying??? I remember when SEA first came out I tried and tried and tried to figure out the code but could not. Maybe it’s two codes????
Clue Crew I need your help on this
I’m pretty sure it’s a playfair cipher but I’m not sure what the key is. I tried ALIEN and KOKO KRINGLE but both led to nonsense. If anyone else has an idea, I’d be happy to translate from there! I love decoding ciphers like these. DM me with any ideas you have!

I’m really excited about stressing out the staff
Can I be the knitting old lady with TouTou the parrot sitting on my shoulder, saying cryptic things and vague threats. Bc not gonna lie, thats the dream
When the staff gets really upset and defeated after trying some task or getting us to calm down, hand them a picture of Megan and say you earned this
Me to the staff after they’ve unsuccessfully tried to stop me from sawing through walls and using a crowbar on the floor: “For your struggles”
The staff has to forcibly pull me away from the grandfather clock in the community room on a daily basis.
Little do they know I’m actually tinkering with it in order to stash a hidden message behind the clock face
One of the nurses catches me on a jetpack flying up to everyone’s windows in the night taping onto them that same photo of Megan Vargas. Little does she know I’ve been doing this since day 1.
A young visitor brings in goodies and presents you with a slice of black forest cake. You are instantly suspicious that they are trying to make you fall asleep so they can rifle through your belongings, so you throw chicken-scented markers at them until the nurses come over and escort the visitor away. The staff no longer allow desserts to be brought in.
A guest: “And what’s your name?”
Me, aggressively: “FATIMA. WITH AN ‘F.’ NONE OF THAT WEIRD OLE ‘PH’ STUFF.”
The nursing staff: “Her name is Lauren.”
Me: “You dare contradict me? This is worse than the time my cousin Alvin stole the pick ax I use to break open my coconuts–HOT DANG.”
Staff: “…. we don’t talk to her.”
This honestly sounds like a wonderful sitcom someone write this please
junior nurse: um, why does the list of accepted snacks include “toasted lettuce bagels”?
senior nurse: *shrugs*
Senior nurse #2: We think it’s for the low sodium.
Manager: I’ve called this meeting for the cleaning staff. It has come to our attention that you have been neglecting the dust on numerous surfaces in this facility. If you cannot perform in your duties to keep this place clean for our seniors then we will be looking into new cleaning services.
Maid: *raises hand* We HAVE been dusting! The seniors put it back on and we can’t keep up!
Manager: Why would they do that?
Nurse: Um… They’re really invested in dusting for fingerprints. I think they even have a competition amongst themselves to collect a fingerprint from everyone else in the nursing home. If they collect and correctly match a fingerprint from all the residents and staff, then Lauren says she’ll give them a turn on her jetpack.
Manager: I thought we confiscated that. It’s locked in my suite with an alarm pad. They’d need a code to get in there.
Nurse: … Did you use gloves when you touched the alarm pad?
Manager: No. Why would I use-
Nurse: Oh god! Lauren has her jetpack back!
Sign me up!! I’d be the one running around with my walker yelling “Semper Ubi Sub Ubi!” All while not wearing any pants. This is my dream.
