After receiving some nice comments about the Remix of 2013 set, I felt more inspired to share with you more great music that deserves our attention, so I've compiled a list of tracks which comes in the form of the first installation of the MNTHLY Series. A series which acts as the soundtrack for the month. Ty Dolla $ign - Paranoid (DJ Hoodboi & Falcons Remix) [Audio]

Ty Dolla $ign has been feeding off of an increased buzz since the release of his 'Beach House 2' mixtape. The Taylor Gang affiliate is on the radar to watch for this year with a forthcoming EP on the way. But before all that, we get a brilliant remix from Falcons who teams up with DJ Hoodboi for a bass-pounding remix of the single 'Paranoid' in true Jersey Club fashion. A catchy melody with bumping drums to captivate listeners and keep a dancefloor active.

The Californian band, The Neighbourhood, tease fans to some more new music as they generously offered some sweet sounds taken from their forthcoming brand new album, '#000000 & #FFFFFF' (Black & White). A mellow, gloomy and atmospheric instrumental piece which runs for 2:32 should build some more anticipation for fans looking forward to the new LP.

Waterstrider - Twice (Little Dragon Cover) [Audio]

The Oakland-based indie band, Waterstrider, have recently released the latest cover of Little Dragon's single, 'Twice'. Blessed with their own touch, the band's indie cover adds a relaxing vibe to the regularly remixed song but nonetheless a refreshing cover which maintains the subtleness of the original recording by Little Dragon. Keep an eye out for Waterstrider this year as they are planning on releasing a full-length album later on.

With the track produced by Hit-Boy, the three emcees lay verses over the Ol' Dirty Bastard-sampled Boom-Bap while the ManuallFocus-directed video captures the three rhymers at the gritty scenery of New York.
