Team Beautiful Shadow is a MIchigan barrel racing team. We are professional and normal. We make mistakes but we learn as we go. We are made up of: LaShauna Galvin (owner, trainer, and rider), Autumn Miller (manager and driver), and Ashley Hendricks (cook and driver). All we want to do is prove that no matter the odds, your dreams are possible even if no one believes in you.

So after 2 weeks of battles, I've learned a lot, met great people realized if I want to go to regional next year I have a ton of work! But I also learned what I can do to improve my deck. If you think you want to go to your local game night...go. I debated for weeks if I really wanted to. I built a deck from bulk and a couple random exes. Learned real fast to be a bit more strategic. Adjusted and came back. Learned I needed a bit more tweaking cause the deck I'd changed to needs more support and a bit more heavy hitters. I love learning what's needed fast. But currently I have 12 points for their league and have a 4/9 win streak...sort of. 2 of them are my opponent dropped before I could battle so a free win. But I do hold my own. I have gotten down to one attack for the win (both only got 1 prize card each) against a regional champion, a world champion, and a international qualifier. They dont have any answers to my deck which gives me hope.

One day I want to meet some little girl who just gives me hope in the future of barrel racing. Now everyone only cares about their money, not even about their horses anymore. It was upsetting to hear a high school senior on NATIONAL tv say that her horse was squirting blood but she ran anyway because he was sound.

People piss me off. I had a garage sale over the weekend and so many people thought I was lying about having a horse or that I stole the equipment I was selling. One lady: "horses are a luxery. You're too poor for one." Me:: "so if I'm poor then what are you? Boxed?" She bought two coats and left. A man: "horses are too scary. You have to have balls to ride." Me: "do you ride?" Him: "hell no. I like my balls attached." Me: I laughed. "See? My balls are too big so they have to fit on my chest." He left after buying a couple books. #idiots #barrelracingjustice #balls

So I have a black cat named Minx (she was a stray). So she went out for her weekly half hour, stayed out all night. We found her the next day, in a little nest area with my neighbors orange male cat (Lucky) bringing her a dead bird and a big black stray male (I named Marius) was bringing a dead woodchuck baby. She smacked both of the males then ate their gifts. They just sat hissing at the other. PS: my neighbor said she took a couple chunks when they got to close.
