A Rant About Black People... Pt 1
It's a sad day in America when black people can be so easily swayed and feel lifted by a few rosy words out of the Presidents mouth.
Now I'm talking about the State of the Union Address which will be Obama's last and thank God, because you won't have to hear his bullshit ever again. Well, hopefully.
Scanning across a few social media sites scouring over post after post after post of black people feeling a sense of pride to being inspired after hearing their President give his final state of the union address. They talk about what Obama has accomplished which is really nothing when you dig into it.
Usually the things they attribute to his presidency are in fact things he has nothing to do with it.
Go ask the typical black person who's an Obama supporter, what did Obama do that was beneficial for you and the black community??? See if they respond with "He got the economy on track" or "Recovering" to "He got unemployment down to 5%" to "He did something about healthcare".
Now this shows that black people aren't too bright about the system or how things really work. Many black people are parrots and will parrot the talking points television news outlets gives them. Very few of them will do their own independent research which is required to have an accurate and well rounded under and inner-standing of Government, Politics, Policy and their relation to it all.
Hell you can't even get most black folks to pick up a dictionary to look up the very words they speak.
And here's the problem that affects the black community. Black people are lazy, they are unwilling to try to help themselves. They do not ask questions, enough questions or the right questions. They accept what's given to them much like their beloved Jesus character out of the bible including the bible itself. They BELIEVE in fictions, and myth.
How can a people ever receive justice when they themselves don't seek the truth and cling to falsehoods that perpetuate the condition they're in?
Keep in mind this is not aimed at all black people, if you're a conscious black man or woman consider yourself a rare exception because by a majority this is how black people are and it's alarming to see. But what can you do except call it out when you see it?
If you try to confront black folks with the truth, they will do two things: They will curse you out and fight you when all you're trying to do is enlighten them with new information to consider. Or, they will start clowning and reduce it to ridicule.
This is fucking pathetic and sad to see a people walking around and high on stupidity not knowing a gotdamn thing about anything!!
Until black folks get square with themselves, there will be no progress for a black community. Just a continuation of the status quo under a name change but nothing more.
Black people have got to do better than this, because they are better than this. They deserve better but not until they do what a better person does!
