I’ve fallen into a Captain Marvel obsession at the worst possible time. Its a kid who has to grow up too fast. Its about being your own protector and choosing to be a protector for other before they have to do it for themself. Its the beauty of childhood. Its the horror and helplessness of childhood. Its adulthood saving and cursing. There’s magic everywhere and its your responsibility to bear on your small shoulders. Its the power to do anything and everything but bring back your parents and get to be a kid. The danger is not the monsters your facing as a hero but the rest of life you have to deal with as a kid. Its finding a home finally in the strangest of places. Finding family in a bunch of other kids (and two adults) who were also thrown away and forced to grow up too soon. Its your birth family being cruel and searching for them anyways. Its the mother that rejects you and the sister that doesn’t. Its losing your birth family. Its the ghost of your father leading you to what will help you find your lost sister. Its the kid you save choosing to help save you. Its losing the friends you sat on these chairs with for an eternity. Its losing the wife and children you broke your chains for. Its losing the legacy of Champions you used to be a part of. Its losing one family and finding another. Its punching a nazi and punching a cop. Its fighting the foster system and a robot. Its a small boy and large man both in red with a huge grin. Its the final I need to study for instead of comic that no one knows about despite its concept being more interesting than Superman and Batman

I just have this idea that the ghosts in danny phantom are scary scary monsters (like a shadow, that sometimes has teeth and wrong proportions idk). I have a dream with them taking pictures in the night (i dont have time to draw :/)

Batman (bc is always him) was trying to discover CM identity and learns that Fawcett is locked in a time bubble (yeah i love that).

Cap is doing his hero thing about 50 years??? And he look the same all this years? (Just bc I can, this time bubble just freezes the time, so he doesn't actually lived all this years)

And now with that information Bruce treats Billy different. Being patient, and helping him more with the jl work (oh you don't now how to type a doc that's fine lemme teach u)

The others noticed the difference on the treatment and question Batman. He doesn't tell, but he doesn't hided. And some of the jl members make the same assumption.

Superman bring Billy to meet his parents, bc they will love him (Martha knew that CM was a child instantly, they made a deal that he has to visit her monthly (she gives him food and he tells her all the adventures with jl))

Dinah and Oliver ask about his hobbies and Billy tells them about the whiz radio, and how he was radiologist

Flash and Hal try listening to the crazy tales without complaining or disbelief (wow, so you fought a big space worm with our talking tiger)

Billy is super hiper happy. All his teammates are being nice and he's faking it very well the adult thing (he doesn't know the difference btw)

as a kid i thought adults were exaggerating how hard it was to have two jobs. and now i have two jobs and im like yeah this will make me insufferable in about fifty years, telling kids stories of when i worked two jobs and took care of my family on top of that while dealing with a political climate branching towards World War III and another civil war in the United States where most of America were the bad guys and how nazis invaded our country. and my grandkids will be like okay grandpa that's cool but im trying to talk to my AI robot girlfriend i designed to my exact specifications so i don't have to be scared of human rejection. and then i'll have to take him out of my will because that bum ass loser grandkid is not allowed to have the money from my two jobs i worked but maybe his sister can have it because she still reads physical books and i forgive her for calling my music taste retro because at least she likes the songs. and one time her butch pothead girlfriend let me talk about how good Marvel and DC was when i was growing up, and how i can't believe they let Superman and Batman finally kiss each other (because in the future the nazi butt fucks lose obviously and we go back to being ashamed to spewing hatred and we get to have the cultural cooking pot we were promised as kids) while on a family camping trip. so they deserve some of the money i got from letting myself endure having two jobs so i could support myself long enough to get to "Not Need Two Jobs" era of my life. i am so tired right now
