Bear: At least ten, but more would work, too.
Bear: Hm... that's a good question, actually. I didn't think about that. It probably wouldn't hurt.
Teddy: hm I'm sure I can find deals on those. Hold on
Teddy: http://www.dollardays.com/wholesale-office-and-school-supplies.html
Teddy: is that one okay?
briardunn:
It could always be worse, you’re right. I’m glad I survived too, or else I wouldn’t get to witness the sight of fumbling for words there in that adorable fashion. I’ve known you all of five minutes and I think you’re one of the nicest people in the country. People like you don’t exist in New York. What’re you even doing here?
I—uh, I just didn’t want you to think I was, um, undermining your situation there... Oh, thank you! I... I don’t know, actually. Well, I mean, I’m here because my job’s here, but as far as belonging here is concerned, this isn’t the first time someone’s said that to me... What are you doing here? You’re just as nice as I am, I think... if not nicer?
rosemaryxyoung:
“Yeah, no problem.” she nodded, “And I’ve actually been reading a lot of romance… So, I mean if your interested in romance then you should definitely read ‘The Selection’”
Teddy smiled and looked down at the book. “Well, I’m not really too big on romance novels, but I suppose I could give it a try if you think it’s good.” He looked back up at her. “Would you mind showing me where that is?”

rosemaryxyoung:
Rose watched the male with a smile, “actually I’ve never read it. I’ve been meaning to but just never got the chance… I also heard so many good things about it so I thought I would recommend it” she shrugged like a little kid with a smile plastered on her face.
“Ah, well. If it’s been sitting well with the masses I’m sure it’ll be good,” he said, picking a copy up. “Thank you, for helping me out and everything. Are there any books here you like a lot? Maybe I can try one of those out, too.”

Bear: It's the least I can do. They deserve way more.
Bear: Thanks! That's really helpful.
Teddy: How many backpacks are you getting? i think they have different deals depending on how many you need
Teddy: No problem! do you need other things, like pencils and stuff?
rosemaryxyoung:
“Thank you” she glanced at him with a smile before quickly looking away. Rose had terrible eye contact, it always frightened her to stare someone in their eyes. “No, no, I would love too. Really. It’s my job” she giggled softly. Her finger tips slid across the book shelf searching for an exact book. “This one.” she pointed at the titled book ‘The Book Theif’.
Teddy shuffled from one foot to the other where they stood. “You know what’s funny is that I’ve always heard a lot of good stuff about this book, especially after the movie came out, but I’ve, uh, never come around to reading it for whatever reason.” He shrugged. “Have you read it?”

Bear: A couple of my kids can't buy backpacks for school this year.
Bear: I was gonna try to get them each one, so I figured I'd buy in bulk if I could.
teddy: Aw :/ that's awfully nice of you though. here's the link to the website: http://bagsinbulk.com/
rosemaryxyoung:
“Follow me.” the brunette giggled softly, leading the young man towards the historical fiction section. “Out of the three hundred and sixty five days I’ve worked here…I’ve never actually been back here.” she scoffed with a smile.
“Okay,” he said nervously, following her. “Oh, wow—you’ve been working here for exactly a year today? Congratulations,” he said, smiling a little. “You don’t have to recommend anything, then, not if you don’t want to—I mean, I wouldn’t mind a recommendation, but... yeah...”
vesper-van-alstine:
Vesper nodded eagerly when Teddy talked about bringing the dogs to a park to play together. “Hannah’s a little older now so she probably won’t run as much but I like to bring her out and play with her, I feel like she didn’t get to do a lot of that when she was younger because she was just my service dog,” Vesper explained, wincing a little at how easily he could talk about his brother in the same context of not being able to do a lot because he had Vesper to take care of. He nodded and smiled when Teddy seemed to take interest in his tortoise. “Bonny is a lot like a hamster, really… Clyde is fun to feed. Sometimes I tie a balloon to his shell and let him walk around the house, and yknow, sometimes we paint, that’s pretty fun. I play with Bonny a lot more, though. They’re active at night and are very social and all,” Vesper said as he rubbed Teddy’s dog’s tummy. He grinned when Teddy told him his dog’s name. “Is that just Cap the Corgi or Cap for Captain America? You’re a real big fan of that stuff, aren’t you,” he teased, reaching over to poke the other boy’s knee. He laughed again when Teddy mentioned getting a bigger dog. “Lucky the Pizza Dog? Why does it need a title? If you had to name me, what would it be? Vesper the what?” Vesper blinked a little, his brain finally processing and going back to other things Teddy had said. “Oh, but would that be ok? I don’t want to get hot chocolate on your comic books or anything. But speaking of or something, I don’t cook a lot, right, but I use my microwave plenty, and I know a lot of those, like, cooking in your mug recipes. They’re not fantastic but I like them. Like brownies or cheesecake in a mug and stuff like that, it’s quick and tasty enough… I love having a big dog. I think it’s ok to have big dogs in a small place as long as you give them adequate outside and exercise time.” He winced and rubbed his head a little. “Sorry, I don’t always talk in the right order…” He trailed off, hoping Teddy would understand and not judge him too much for it.
“Aw, well, I’m sure she appreciates it either way,” he said, “Playtime transcends actual time for dogs. Plus, I think company is enough to make most dogs more than happy, at least for the dogs I’ve met.” Teddy continued stroking Cap’s snout absentmindedly while listening to Vesper talk about Bonny and Clyde. “Ooh, how do you feed him? Is there special tortoise food, or can he sometimes eat like... bread, and stuff? I don’t think I’ve ever met a hedgehog in person, is she tiny like a hamster is too? Or does she kinda just act like one? I’ve only met one hamster in my whole life so far and he bit me, it was all bad,” he said, pressing his lips together into a thin line at the memory. “That’s sweet, though, how do you play with her?”
He ducked his head bashfully, smiling. “It’s Cap... for Captain America.” He laughed and peeked back up Vesper, wrinkling his nose a bit. “I am, I am a really big fan. It’s super lame, I know. But I thought it would be really cool to call Cap out around the apartment.” Teddy grinned and covered his face with his hands, his answer muffled through his fingers, “Okay, so it gets even more lame... Lucky the Pizza Dog is the name of Hawkeye’s dog in the comics.” He let his hands fall into his lap next to where Cap was still sitting and pressed his lips together again, this time in thought. “Hm... well, if I had to name you, based on what I know about you so far... it would probably be Vesper the... Kind. Or Tall. Kind because that’s the most important thing I’ve learned about you since we met and tall because that was the first thing I noticed about you,” he answered, nodding.
“Yeah, of course. A lot of them are pretty beat up from wear and tear, anyway. Plus I have copies of a bunch of the really important ones, some of ‘em I haven’t even opened yet. I mostly read them on my laptop or on my phone now, though, because it’s easier.” He raised his eyebrows at the mention of mug recipes. “Really, you do? I think I saw something on BuzzFeed a few days ago about cheesecake in a mug. We could do one of those instead of hot chocolate, if you want?” he asked. “Yeah, you’re right. I’d probably have to make sure I take them out at least twice a day.” Teddy shook his head at the apology. “Hey, don’t worry about it. I don’t mind at all. I still get what you’re saying and that’s all that matters, yeah?” he said, nudging Vesper lightly. “Let’s go to the kitchen, though, so we can use these mugs. Are you hungry or thirsty or anything?”
annie-freeman:
“Yeah we do, do you have something on mind?”
“Yeah! Um, well... Okay, this might not sound like the best idea, but I was planning on sending a birthday cake over to Portland, Oregon. My dad’s birthday’s coming up and I heard that if you get it sent right away, like within a day, the cake should still be good by the time it arrives... And, um, I don’t know, it seemed like a good idea before I said it out loud...”
briardunn:
Oh, I totally agree. In the tenth grade, I rode the subway during flu season and y’know, touched the pole and stuff. After that I went to Pommes Frites, and ate with my hands like a savage. I got the worst case of the flu imaginable. The only brightside was that I was outta school for a week and a half and watched three seasons of Friends.
Oh no, that’s... that’s horrible. I’m sorry. At least it was just the flu though, and not some incurable disease... Not that the flu isn’t bad, I mean—I mean, it’s terrible, especially if it had you out for a week. But, uh, I’m... glad you got over it? And that you got to watch Friends... It’s a lot better than having to do homework, I bet.

“I’m majoring in Latin American studies. I’m looking to work towards being a translator, but at this point I’m used to people thinking my major is weird. Doesn’t really bother me any except when they all use the same material.”
“Aw, see, that doesn’t sound useless at all. Translators are needed pretty much everywhere... Plus that’s a huge plus on resumes? I don’t know... I guess I just don’t think it’s anyone’s business when it comes to career choices... or anything, really...”

Bear: I need your help.
Bear: Do you think they sell backpacks in bulk? Like, at Costco or something?
Bear: I need like... a ten-pack of backpacks.
Teddy: Um... they might? I'm not sure... Wait, why do you need so many?
