You did the flavor text for reparations? That's awesome. I guess you could say that flavor text is pure gold.

The story behind the flavor text is a good one. I was up late with my friend Michael (Ryan - the person I co-created the Weatherlight Saga with) editing my puzzle book.

While Michael was editing, I was working on writing flavor text. I was very tired and a little punchy. I saw the art for Reparations and wrote the flavor text because I was trying to make Michael laugh.

The next morning after a night’s sleep, I looked at the flavor text again and still laughed, so I turned it in never thinking it would get selected.
