hi! this blog is destined to display examples of terfs (and other assorted transphobes) having a "mask off" moment and exposing the insanity present in their ideology. sometimes it'll be a reblog of another post detailing things you might have missed on the original post, but i prefer to present receipts without comment so you may take your own conclusions ;3

i don't do this only to expose their real motivations but also because this is genuinely entertaining for me. having said that, this blog is not meant for discourse or debate as that would go directly against "take your own conclusions" (yes im annoying. block me or deal with it).

you can tag me in any post you'd like, if i feel it fits the theme of the blog i'll add it here. anons and submissions are open but it's not guaranteed to be posted. if you have a post you'd like me to reblog, if possible, don't send the link on anon/ask - tag me instead. if you can't, that's fine too, i'll probably just take a little longer to see it. if you want to send screenshots or something similar through asks but would rather keep your url private, just tell me so and i'll make a post with them but without your username.

if you find a reblog of mine misstagged or simply missing a few tags, please let me know and i'll change and/or add the tags accordingly as soon as i can (i.e: example of racism lacking the tag; example of exosexism tagged only as intersex erasure).

i don't have a dni list. everyone is welcome to scroll as much as they'd like. however, you should know there are certain topics present in some posts that can be triggering. i will try my best to always tag most common triggers (see above) so by blocking the tag you should be safe. remember to always prioritize your mental health.

on that note - kids and teens are more naive, trusting and filled with negative emotions than your average adult, making them susceptible to ideologies that praise them for being angry and preach that they're uniquely victimized in a way their peers aren't. i want to believe most people grow out of that phase and i would rather not contribute to the "immortalization", so to speak, of a bad phase, no matter how heinously bad it may have been. because of that, if you happen to identify anyone i've reblogged from as a minor, please let me know and i'll take the post down.

sometimes i take a while to respond because sadly i do live under capitalism and have responsibilities or whatever :( please don't take it personally, it's just that college and personal life are constantly kicking me between the legs

I made a post recently talking about how I want to be seen gender wise, and how I wish my transition could be acknowledged more holistically.

A terf reblogged it. She said I was "Privileged if this is the biggest issue in your life". Except I never said that. I didn't implied it either.

Yet my words were molded to better fit her vision of a "whiney troon".

People can change their views, I think. And bigots can be de radicalized. But part of the way they reinforce their own bigotry is by twisting a target's words.

There's really no being "one of the good " trans people in a terf's eyes. And as a result, there's no debate a trans person could ever win. Yet they call us members of an echo chamber when we opt to ignore over engaging.

it's absolutely alright, and you're correct. a lot of times any "debate" with a far-right person will consist on you saying something that will then be (purposefully or otherwise) misinterpreted. i honestly believe it's not always on purpose, i think often enough it's people with subpar reading comprehension who won't attentively read or hear what you said but rather gather key words and blindly regurgitate/repeat back to you what they've heard or read elsewhere and believe will shut you up.

hi! would you consider tagging posts with tags about additional bigotries that often come hand-in-hand with terfism/transphobia? (not forced, just a suggestion :-) )

i think of 'terfism unmasked' as also including and pointing out just how intensely bigoted terfs are. they often show their racism and ableism (the most common) alongside the transphobia, intersexism, and exorsexism.

like, for example: this post ( https://www.tumblr.com/terfism-unmasked/790695322201522176/presented-without-comment ) also includes ableism (the use of the r-slur) and exorsexism ("they/themselves") on top of the standard bioessentialism and oppositional sexism.

you're very very right! bigotries usually come hand in hand, meaning it isn't rare for someone who arbitrarily hates one minority also hate a different minority. therefore, it's not uncommon to find a terf who's also racist, or ableist, or exorsexist, etc.

i try to tag every post with all the topics observed in it, but im great at forgetting stuff. not because they're unimportant, im just naturally very forgetful. tags are no exception sadly :/ but if you, anon, or anyone else, find any other post of mine with missing tags (or simply misstagged) please warn me and ill fix it!
