for my pansexual awakening, i was watching pokemon (indigo league) and i was entranced by both Jessie and James

for my transgender awakening, my sisters were watching a one direction music video and i YEARNED to look like Harry Styles for some reason. I then realized that I only wanted to look like Harry Styles cuz Harry Styles was a boy.

i think my very first "i love women" moment was when i was four and i saw maria reynolds in hamilton for the first time... i was CAPTIVATED. it probably took me longer to learn that i was into guys at all than girls tbh and hhmmmi think christian borle might have been responsible for that ...?gulp.

my genderqueer awakening was hedwig and the angry inch and im so serious. after watching the movie for the first time i knew that there had to be so much more to me than just being a girl:)

I watched the anime Cardcaptor Sakura I was thirteen: seeing this one character I related to come to terms with his queerness and get into a relationship with his close friend made me realize I was in the same situation. I’ve always sort of known I was different and figured I would end up queer, this was just sort of a confirmation.

I didn’t really have an awakening. The label I most identify with is ace. Everyone around me started smacking tongues and I just sort of sat there like “that’s nice.” Had some situationships. My biggest habit is getting hopeful when I have a friend, thinking I’ve finally fallen in love and omigosh this is it I finally like someone let’s date omg… then it just turns out I really like being friends with them. So much to the point that I think ive fallen in love. Then I get in a relationship and am like… oh… I have made a terrible awful horrible mistake backspace backspace. Anyway oversharing but yeah! Ace ppl are valid too!!!
