Best case scenario is you just give really basic advice that anyone would know and upsetting someone further

worst case scenario you could make someone’s situation far FAR worse

-Give them a shoulder to lean on, explain you dont feel qualified enough to be giving advice, but offer them support

-If you can’t handle the situation you try and redirect them to someone more qualified to help them
