Women Fart Too!

Who’s ever heard the old adage, “good girls don’t fart”? Dudes talk about their bodily functions all the time, yet when girls do so it’s frowned upon. In fact, many man actually believe that females don’t fart (or shit) whatsoever! We women are expected to be prim and proper, and odour-free. We are told to be “seen and not heard”. This means no speaking out of line and DEFINITELY no farting.

Because of this awful social construct, heterosexual women are reverting to holding in their bowel movements for unhealthy periods of time rather than giving way to their natural bodily functions.

But the year is 2015 and the times, they are a-changing. An end needs to be put to the myth that women don’t have functioning digestive systems just like the rest of the human population. Who has the time or the will-power to wait until the boyfriend leaves the house to take a shit? Or walk to the local McDonalds to poop in lonely shame? It’s not just unhealthy.. it’s fucking inconvenient.

Take a stand and show that women can do anything men can, including pass gas- body standards be damned.
