This is so random but I want an au where Jack, Janet, and Bruce were all hooking up at some point and that's how Tim came to be. I want it to be so obvious Tim isn't Jacks but nobody cares. Like bruce is in his angsty girl era and while he's aware Tim is a thing™, Jack and Janet are actually pretty great parents to the kid.

I want to become a thing where, once Tim is like 6 they decide to get back on the archeology thing and physically push Tim onto Bruce like "this is your kid and we need to get back to OUR OWN hyper fixation." I think it'd be so funny if Janet and Bruce were in school together and so Janet is completely aware of Bruce's BS. I want iron dragon lady, Janet Drake, and all her "probably owns the Russian mob" fanan energy

I don't want canon touching this, this is a whole other universe of possibilities. I kinda want them to live too. I want them to be genuinely great parents and just vibe with co-parenting Tim. I want them to be out of the country a lot but have the best tech to talk to Tim and help him out.

I'm taking a lot inspo from Dragon!Tim and Dragon!Janet fics but I love this dynamic of Janet having no clue what parenting a child is like and just assuming it's kinda normal for him to want to scale buildings and do dumb shit.

Ok wait additionally: the drakes get to know Bruce's other kids too. They get to know Jason especially well cause he's just his kid who wants to know everything. So imagine he learns about Shelia and, because he's pissed at Bruce and the plot has to plot, he first runs away to the Drake house where Tim just happens to be over talking with the house keeper. Jason tells him everything that happens and Tim decides to call his parents cause, even tho Tim doesn't really understand why he needs to get an adult he likes to make his dad happy, and asks for advice. Turns out Jack and Janet are coming back into town later in the week and didn't have their next dog planned out so they decide to talk to Bruce about taking Jason and Tim to ethiopia for some archeology show cause again, plot. Now I do still think Jason would run away from whatever hotel they're at but let's say Tim wakes up, gets his parents, and they actually make it in time to get Jason out before he dies.

Could you imagine Tim starting a YouTube channel where he just goes places around the world and rates them. I'm specifically imagining he asks his friends to join him at different locations and that's how the world gets the weirdest Timothy Drake lore.

So this post is about ages and for my own sake this is gonna be when Damian enters the frame.

Alfred: 52 years old

Bruce: 34 years old

Selena: 32 years old

Barbra: 21 years old

Dick: 20 years old

Cass: 19 years old

Jason: 17 years old

Stephani: 16 years old

Tim: 15 years old

Duke (who technically isn't here yet): 13 years old

Damian: 10 years old

So first and foremost, do you agree with the ages?

I knew I wanted Tim and Jason to be close in age but I also knew that Tim was a toddler ( ages 1 to 3) when he met Dick at the circus and I'm assuming Dick was 8 at the time (but also he's portrayed as being ages 8 to 10 so let me know if you agree). The problem with Dick and Tim being so close in age is that Dick became nightwing at with 18 or 19 and this pots Dick being Nightwing for only a year or two when Damian enters the picture and also stills puts him as Robin/unnamed vigilante when Jason becomes robin.

Although this could be a cool way of introducing Dick as Red X or Slades' Apprentice for a short time (kinda like how Zuko has his stunt as the Blue Spirit for a short time) but I'm still not sure I like how CLOSE the ages are.

I could age up Tim to 16 giving him and Damian a 6 year age gap instead of 5 so that things look like this:

Alfred: 53

Bruce: 35

Selena: 33 years old

Barbra: 22

Dick: 21

Cass: 20

Jason: 18

Stephani: 17

Tim: 16

Duke: 13

Damian: 10

Now that does look better but something still feels off and now that I'm actually thinking about it I think it could be Cass and Jason. Like I kinda like the idea of them being only a few months apart so many making Jason and Cass only like 3 or 4 months apart could be better?

I also have no clue how old Selena is. And I'm pretty sure Steph is either a year or two older than Tim but someone confirm or deny that for me plz. I want to include Stephanie's own arcs, including that baby ark, but I don't know how old she was for that and I want to get it right.

Idk, tell me what you think and please remember this isn't meant to be cannon, just close to it.

OH! I forgot to mention I decided to make Dick a waterbender because it fits with his fighting style very nicely

Getting into the bat fandom is so weird cause my first introduction to the characters were from the 2003 Teen Titans where Robin was a canonical crash out and in love with Starfire, all the Titans were the same age, and I fell in love with character like bumblebee and Jinx. But now all the Titans are different ages, Jinx is nowhere and Dick is a cheater? But also these are all different universes or deleted time lines. Also who was the og red x??? Did we ever go over that?

Aren't Duke, Tim, and Jason like.... Canonically close in age? Why aren't there more fics of them together. I think they could have a great dynamic especially with the way Tim is Jason's favorite ("bE mY RoBiN") and Duke just gets away with everything. Then you've got the fact that Duke idolises Tim so much and it's like.... I just need more fics of these three being brothers and hanging out together. I want Tim "rich, stalker boy, blow-shit-up-for-the-fun-of-it" Drake and Duke "Gets-away-with-everything" Thomas to just appear at Jason's apartment to mooch off the WiFi and whatever leftovers Jason has. I just need more of these three cause aren't they genuinely close in age???

Here's where I need advice.

Some of these characters I just don't know enough to feel confident about but some I'm so conflicted about.

Tim has got the fighting style of an Airbender but the temper of a firebender.

Jason could be a fire ender but I've got this idea in my mind of a young Jason not having much but having these rocks he could shape and play with as a child. Using those rocks later to literally move Gotham as he needs to in order to run away.

Dick was hard in that it was a 50/50 on whether he'd be a waterbender or Airbender but could you imagine the rage Jason would have at thinking he was not only replaced as a robin but also that Dick got a little brother he could actually connect to on a spiritual level? That'd be a whole new fight.

P.s. with Selina, I'm just imagining her having those ice nails I remember Kama showing Katara in avatar the last Airbender but Selena just does it so she can run her "claws" over something/someone.

Just, if you're still here could you give me your thoughts? Tell me if you agree or disagree and if so why? Did I miss any bats? Is there anyone I didn't list that you've got opinions on.

What if, in some universe where the bats didn't reveal their identities to anyone, Tim decides to move to San Francisco in order to lead the Titans under a new identity (not robin or red robin) and while there gets a job as a photographer for a local newspaper. While there he meets local Conner Kent. Idea?????

Tell me I'm wrong but I wish that instead of a Harry Potter reboot we were getting an entire series about Quidditch... I'm not a sports fan but any time I read a fic and someone has Quidditch commentary playing in the background I suddenly find myself enthralled in the quidditch commentary.

Nah but could you imagine. Time drake with his bat training dating the guy who's basically in charge of filing every death in Gotham. Bernard knows everything (cause plot has to plot) and the two are obsessive to a T.

Now in my universe Tims identity as Robin and Red Robin is a secret from the bats (don't ask me how, I'm sure Babs knows) and likes to fuck with them just a little. I think it'd be even funnier if Tim was adopted by Bruce (or he's just Bruce's ward) but plays oblivious around the bats.

I'd love to think that in some far off universe Tim has another (post Bruce stuck in the time line) team that he calls the falcons. One team is Tim, Pru, Z, and Owens (cause they lived of course) and the other possibility is Tim, Tam Fox, and some other third person, maybe Pru.
