i’ve complained about this before but its crazy how book editors really seemed to just stop doing anything after covid. the number of poorly formatted sentences or even just straight up errors i have found in books published from 2020 onwards is mind boggling. like i’m not saying every single book before the pandemic was a flawless masterpiece, but there’s a definite trend towards just… sheer laziness when it comes to editing now
