I just need to rant a bit. My SIL is pregnant and is having a beer and babies thing, basically a diaper party. They’re saying bring a gift card worth the amount of a thing of diapers $45-$55 and get a cup for beer. Like excuse me I don’t want to pay that much for bad beer and we’re not having kids so it’s not like we can be like oh we did this for you now reciprocate in the future. Also like the point of this is to get diapers not gift cards for diapers. It feels weird. And there’s another baby shower after this diaper party. I’m just irritated and annoyed because like her and her husband make a stupid amount of money and live in the middle of nowhere so it’s not like the cost of living is expensive for them. I’m just irritated because she’s also been very like you have to come to me and work around me because I’m pregnant and it’s only going to get worse after the stupid kid gets here.
