I do get a kick out of millennials sucking their own dick and saying that gen z or boomers or whatever generational divide is especially conservative because it's like, a) it's hilarious that you think this has nothing to do with you when it was millennials in the Omegle chats and on Tumblr wreaking havoc on kids, hilarious, and b) baby, ain't nothing more conservative than believing a marketing category decides who and who isn't progressive. You think every "boomer" is your parents, ignorant to the fact that there are marginalized people in their fifties and sixties, and neo-nazis in their mid-twenties. You can't offload fascism to any particular age range, and doing so only blinds you to your own deficits. Womp!

heading into the The Drama tag was a bad idea. I'm seeing all these posts claiming that the point of the film was criticising the notion that bad things (specifically) Black people think of doing are way worse than bad things white people actually do. and whilst obviously that notion is untrue and something to be criticised, I don't think it's applicable in the case of The Drama. the film actually criticises the notion that a bad thing someone - of any demographic, not specific ones - thinks of doing is worse than bad things other people - of any demographic, not specific ones - do. race isn't explicitly mentioned in the film IIRC. anyway if you have the latter attitude you are Rachel and saying it is purely to do with racism does not change it
