tumblr mirrors on ‘photosugar’

So idk if others have noticed this before - but it’s the first time I’m seeing this, hence the post.

There’s a website, https://www.photosugar.com, which apparently mirrors all pictures, gifsets etc. people post on their tumblrs (and also other social media sites like twitter and instagram, if I understand it correctly). An example for a tumblr user, with my name: https://www.photosugar.com/tu/lordhellebore

Now it won‘t turn up anything but a 404 error in my case, because I sent an e-mail to the contact address, which is [email protected] with the title “My content on your website”:

Hello, it’s come to my attention that you are mirroring all of the posts containing pictures/gifs that I post on my tumblr. I am asking you to stop pulling the content from my tumblr and to delete me from your website. tumblr username is „lordhellebore“ Thank you.

I got a reply consisting of the single word “removed” after just one day, and as you can see, it worked perfectly fine with the informal mail I sent. So if you want them to stop mirroring your tumblr, it seems all you really need to do is this.  

I can’t test the site for all of my mutuals, but I’m tagging a few whom I found on there by random trial & error, and I suggest you look yourself up if you see this post and dislike tumblr mirrors (even if this one is only for pictures, not text).

I know I just have a small blog with screenshots and stupid commentary but I was still taken aback to basically see my entire blog on another platform without knowing it, so I can’t imagine how those of you who create original artwork, photos, and stories might feel. Does Jacob’s sibling have amnesia? 99 percent of our interactions with Penny involve breaking school rules.

I actually think Jacob may be evil. Here’s what I think. The cursed vaults have been tampered with and the curses are activating, but why? Answer, Jacob. He’s waiting at the last vault, the one who’s magic spread through hogwarts creating all the others. He can’t get in though, because it needs two wizards of equal strength to open it. Jacobs been expelled who’s he gonna get. Answer, his sibling who he’s making grow stronger by leaving clues to drive them to find him and the other vaults.

Holy Moly! I have no proof to oppose this theory. It’s really good. I mean Jacob doesn’t necessarily have to be evil to be behind all this but we’ve seen that the cursed vaults require sacrifices (like the broken wand and Centaur arrowhead). It’s frustrating that so many characters seem to know what’s going on (like Skeeter, Merula, Rakepick, and even the Gryffindor prefect) and our MC is still left in the dark. Either Jacob’s behind it or he’s trapped/dead. There’s no other explanation for him just chilling away from society for almost four years.

If Jacob turns out to not be a victim it will further deconstruct the Hogwarts house dynamics. I mean our MC has befriended Slytherins (Barnaby and Lizard), been suspicious of a Gryffindor (Ben), physically harmed others with Hufflepuffs (Penny and Tonks), and has been at odds with her best friend from their own house (Rowan).
