Aloy and Petra- A good luck kiss
Come get some fic! (Read I love you so much for sending me some Petroy stuff)
It was early. The sun was only just considering the horizon. But Aloy was awake already, and carefully filling her Pack. She heard Petra shifting in their bed and paused for a moment, not wanting to wake her. Once Aloy was certain that Petra was still deep in sleep, she resumed packing.
Certain she had everything, Aloy bent over Petra and kissed her forehead softly. "A kiss for good luck. I'll see you when I get back."
Aloy always starfished when she was alone in the bed. Even when she was fast asleep, once Petra got up, Aloy starfished out on the bed.
Petra had plans on testing one of her new weapons before handing it off to Aloy to do real damage with. But Aloy was just back from a long expedition, deep into some ruins from the old world. Petra was happy to let her sleep.
But still, before she left their home, Petra lent over the starfish that was Aloy, and kissed her nose.
A storm had arrived, and a stampede was rapidly approaching Free Heap. Aloy was about to run out to the herd of Behemoths that were making their way towards their home.
"Aloy!" Petra grabbed Aloy as they ran past each other, lips pressing together in desperate panic. "For luck!" She said, before hurrying away to help the other townspeople.
"Petra get out!" Aloy squeaked, diving for a blanket to try and hide her outfit. "I told you, we're not meant to see each other!"
"Then close your eyes, that's your tradition, not mine." Petra said with a cheeky grin. "Besides, we have our own tradition before stuff like this, and we can't do that if we don't see each other."
"Our own tradition?" Aloy asked, still hiding her outfit with one of their furs.
"Don't sound so surprised, you're the one that started it." Petra laughed, the sound hearty and full bodied. She strode across the room to kiss Aloy. "For luck. I'll see you in a minute." Another kiss, before Petra left. Aloy breathed out slowly.
"For luck." She whispered after Petra, before sighing and carrying on with the preparations for their wedding. The one thing that Aloy was certain she didn't need any extra luck for.
