Hey! I'm Squirrel Girl, part squirrel and part girl!
₍ᐢ•ﻌ•ᐢ₎✧˖°.
You've probably heard of me before, and if you haven't? Well now you have!!
I've decided to come online to chat with some new people ( The Avengers can get pretty predictable after living in their attic for a while. Which, btw I'm not anymore so don't @ me, Tony!! I moved out ages ago- ).
Squirrel Girl is... Off Saving the World
Online ( Eating Nuts, Kicking Butts ) , Around ( Squirreling Around ) , Offline ( Off Saving the World )
// I keep forgetting to set my status. Check how recently I've posted for an idea about my status if I've forgotten to change it :)
Hello! This is a RP/Character blog for Squirrel Girl!
If you don't know who Squirrel Girl is, here's her fandom wiki.
This is a 16+ blog please! ( Mun is 18+ )
Feel free to @ me on Open RPs if we've messaged before! If I don't respond for a long while, feel free to poke me! Your message probably got lost in my drafts.
*I try to respond within 24hours, but I might not catch up with everything by then if I have multiple starters open
Extra Info, Activity Window, Open RPs, Boundaries, & Tags are under the cut!
Extra Info!
I might tweak some cannon because I prefer certain comic runs + the novels. Mostly, I'll be drawing from "The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl" solo run and some stuff from her previous appearances ( ie. Great Lake Avengers, New Avengers 2010 run ). I might also reference her time with the U.S. Avengers.
This is comic-verse SG, not Marvel Rivals.
This Marvel Blog currently run by a DC & Marvel nerd... so check out my side SG blog for DC x SG crossovers: @the-squirreliest-multiverse ! ( That blog is also a Multi-Fandom RP when applicable )
Check out my Melissa Morbeck Blog! @melissa-morbeck-official

There's a woman Peter doesn't recognize sitting in Tony's chair, typing something on one of the lab computers. She swivels it around when he walks in, smiling like she completely belongs in here.
"Hey, could you- oh. You're, uhh- not Tony..."
@the-squirreliest-girl
Peter blinks at the strange woman, immediately a little bit on guard. He nods, stance widening outward a little bit as he keeps looking at her. "Um, yep, not Tony... Who're you? And why're you in my dad's spot?"
"Oh! Right- sorry! I'm Doreen. Doreen Green. I work with Tony." She hesitates. "Kind of- It's... it's complicated?"
Doreen stands up to offer a hand to Peter, pausing midway through as realization suddenly hits her.
"Wait- Tony has a son? He like- never mentioned that. I mean it's not like we talk all that much but still- You'd think he'd mention it at least once, right?"
Peter nods, bringing his hand to hers to shake it with a firm grip. "Yeah. He used to keep it a secret so it wouldn't get out to the press. Now it's everywhere, though. What're you doing with him?"
Doreen raises her eyebrows slightly a genuine look of concern crossing her face.
"Well, yknow, he's Ironman and I'mmmm" She drags out the word, trying to find a non-superhero explanation. "...A computer science major. I do tech... stuff- like programming."
He furrows his eyebrows a little bit, not quite believing her. "...What's that have to do with Iron Man? He doesn't really trust others with his programming for the suit, or FRIDAY. He doesn't trust me half the time and I'm his kid."
"Oh- Nono, I don't actually- well, I have used the suit before but that was under really specific circumstances- Sorry, lemme try that again."
Her heart is beating fast. Like- too fast. Like a normal person would be in the hospital kind of fast. And yet she seems perfectly fine if not a little flustered.
It's a squirrel thing. Look it up.
"You're right. I don't work on the suit. It's not really my thing anyways. I'm more of annnn... unofficial intern that like- no one but Tony really knows about?"
"...You've what?" Peter asks, his jaw slightly ajar. "Why? How?"
His attention shifts, and before he can stop himself, he says, "are you having a panic attack on steroids or something? Your heart's—." He snaps his mouth shut. "Uh..."
"Well, I helped Tony several years back and he kind of owed me big time. Also it wasn't the suit- it was an older version. Still cool as heck though-"
She perks up a little at the topic. It's clearly something she's proud of.
"No? Why would I-" Doreen pauses, eyeing Peter carefully. "-How do you know what my heart rate is... and if I said it's just a normal human condition and you don't have to worry about it, would you believe me?"
Look- for a girl who talks her way out of problems... lying isn't my specialty. In fact, I actively try not to lie in most situations.
"A suit is still a suit," Peter mumbles. His eyes widen a little when she points out what he just said, and he backs up a little.
"Uh... FRIDAY can track that kind of thing." He eyes her. "And no, definitely not. But the way you say human is making me think you're something other than human."
"Mostly," Peter mutters, tilting his head to one side. Is she like him? But that wouldn't explain her heartbeat...
He stammers for a second when she says the second part. "Oh, sorry, that was rude of me, I'm Peter." He takes a couple steps forward and holds his hand out to shake Doreen's, though he's a bit on edge.
"It's alright. Honestly. I mean I'd probably be like- a little startled too... except FRIDAY should already know my biometrics- it's odd that she'd alert to something like that."
Doreen notices the bruise, raising an eyebrow just slightly.
"You should really put some ice or something on that. I'm sure Tony keeps a med kit around here somewhere..."
"Yep, exactly. Precisely. Or something got reset oddly, or my friend, Ned's been poking around in her code too much. Plenty of ways she could be acting up. ...Should I be concerned about the mostly human thing? Is that the correct response?"
"Uh-huh... suuuurre. Wait- Tony lets some random friend of yours mess with FRIDAY's literal code and you're surprised that I, someone who's known him since I was like- 14, used his suit?"
She pops her hands in her hips, rocking gently on her toes.
"No, that's a perfectly normal response for someone to say when they're rather rudely asked about their abnormal heart rate- look, can we change the subject? Please?"
Now see, normally people are too busy with their own lives to notice when I say weird things like that... Maybe my plot armor's wearing off.

Wow... depressing much? Sorry- I think space boredom is starting to get to me.
Also I don't really know any "trained cop/intergalactic peacekeepers" other than you sooo... Are you really sure there's absolutely no one else who can handle this for one day? Just one? 24 hours.
Well I've gone back in time and gotten stuck in time so as people go... I think I've had my fair share of time stuff.
I would say we could ask Dr. Strange but I don't think he likes me very much... something about "with time comes wisdom" and "you put yourself in needless danger" or whatever.
