On Being You and then a Review
Iāve been thinking a lot about authenticity lately. The authenticity of being yourself and not compromising the things that make you who you are. There is always a delicate balance between who you are and who you want to be, but I think it is important to remain true to the person that you are on the inside and the things that bring you joy and life.
So on a less serious note, one of the things that brings me joy is Disney. Me and my husband are Disney fans extraordinaire. We make it a point to go to Disney World at least once a year. This year we are going to go to Disneyland, which my husband has never been to. I am very excited for this because he is a HUGE fan of the man himself, Walt Disney, and to see the park that he personally watched over and created will be huge for him!
We love the idea that if you can dream it you can do it. If it is in your heart and you donāt give up you can achieve it. Walt Disney wasnāt perfect. He failed his way to success and that I think is admirable.
We love the stories that the Disney studio creates. We love the characters. We love the dreams that they create. When we go to Disney World we really do feel like it is one of the happiest places on earth. :)
Because of all this I am a total sucker for anything Disney themed. My most recent purchase which I am going to write about today is Jamberry nails.
Jamberry is a direct sales company that sells itās nail wraps through independent consultants... and right now they have a Disney line which I am FREAKING out over!
Yesterday I did my first Jamberry calledĀ āAuroraās CastleāĀ
They are seriously so adorable I canāt even. The application process was alright. It probably took me about an episode of Criminal Minds to put them all on, which amounts to about 45 minutes.
My thoughts? I LOVE the way they look! They are ADORABLE! As far as the process goes, it is a little time consuming but for some reason using the hair dryer makes me feel fancy about it. Probably my only complaint so far is that they really just feel like a sticker on your nail. If the edges start to peel up it gets caught on things. Iām comparing this to the Sally Hansen ones which I love. With those once they are on they harden and turn into real nail polish like coat. The one thing Jamberry has going for it OVER Sally Hansen, though, is the design. They have SO many cute ones! Sally Hansen has about 10 available at stores and I like about 3 of them. Iāve never looked online. The Sally Hansen ones are a little cheaper... but that being said... DISNEY!
I have yet to remove them so I have no idea how the removal process is going to go but I am looking forward to trying out my other Disney designs that I ordered!Ā
Anyways that is my small ramble and review. Stay true to yourselves out there! What makes you you and unique is what makes you beautiful and interesting! <3Ā
