91. Hold my hand
I’ve been having Harry and Ginny feels lately and really wanted to draw them. This was inspired by one of my favorite paintings by Gustav Klimt “The kiss”.

65. Exhausting
We all know how Hermione felt about Professor Trelawney’s class. I think I would like the atmosphere of her classroom yet have the attitude of Harry during them. This piece was a lot of fun, I want to draw more pictures of the trio in the divination classroom. I hope you all had a good holiday season and spent time with the ones you love.

Sorry this took so long for me to upload guys! Life has been so hectic with going to school full time and working full time and having five million side projects I’m working on. When those side projects get closer to being done I will let you guys know all about them! I used a different type of paper for this drawing and it didn’t accept my colored pencils the way I would have liked so there are flaws I’m not too happy about, but I was happy to draw the golden trio because they are my babies and I love them.
13. Opportunities
Some of my favorite moments in the books are when the golden trio goes to Hogsmead and they go into Honeyduke’s. Harry, Ron, and Hermione having fun with chocolate frogs and levitating gumballs.

Finally found some time to finish this piece that has been sitting in my artbook for a while. Tonks and Remus are my favorite couple ever. Their love is the perfect example of true love. This is another scene of them on a date in the very beginnings of their relationship. When my husband and I were first dating there was this park we used to go to between classes and after school full of big beautiful evergreen trees. It was so pretty and calm, and I imagine them in such a beautiful place sitting and gazing at the sky looking for cloud shapes, and gazing into each other’s eyes. I really love this piece of them. I’m trying to add more details to my backgrounds. :)

Forbidden Love
In case you didn’t know Lily flowers are extremely poisonous to cats, and it would be best to not even have them in your house if you are a cat owner. The pollen alone is toxic enough, many owners unfortunately do not know this.

Copic markers are nice to me in theory but they bleed dry so quickly, This was only the second time I was drawing with them on a small 8x5 sketchbook and the markers were already bleeding dry which really annoyed me.

79. Progress
When JK Rowling selected a black actress to play Hermione in the Broadway play, many people were outraged. They said she wasn’t head-canon of how Hermione was supposed to look. But JK Rowling quickly came back with the fact that she only ever mentioned that Hermione had bushy brown hair, nothing more was ever noted about skin color. I love black Hermione, and I love the idea of more diversity in Harry Potter illustrations :) Hermione practicing potions in the girls’ lavatory. She got better at her skills because of constant study and practice. :)

Because of you Don't know where I'm going to I got nothin' to lose I'm fightin' my demons Been lookin' for someone like you I've been lookin' for someone like you~Someone Like You, Boys Like Girls Tonks and Remus are my favorite literary couple EVER. JK Rowling made Remus symbolize someone with aids in our society, as he suffered from lycanthropy (werewolf-ism). People judge right off the bat with their ignorant prejudices and societal misconceptions. Tonks was a spunky girl who worked hard for what she wanted and didn't care what anyone else thought. They fell in love but Remus kept trying to pretend like he didn't have feelings for her because he couldn't believe that anyone would be in love with him when he was 'tainted'. Tonks never gave up though I loved drawing this, not only because I haven't had ANY time to draw as of late because this quarter was so crazy, but because I just LOVE them!! This is of Tonks and Remus on one of their first dates in a cafe, sipping on some hot cocoa and munching on chocolate chip cookies near the fire. There's a number of things I wish I could change about this picture that I messed up on but there's nothing I can do now. Practice makes perfect right?
