It’s always surprised me that Dustin isnt a popular character and that like ships with him are considered rare pairs. Bc ive loved him since I first watched s1 of that fucking show. Before I loved Mike and will, I loved him as my first fav from ST. Like it’s js super bizarre to me when ppl hate on him or his character. Cus like what??? How??? That’s my literal son. My silly, funny, traumatized son. How could you even hate on him. And he’s genuinely one of the kindest characters in this show. Yes yes yes yes! Genuinely, Dustin is one of the kindest and sweetest characters out there! Brave too. Not to mention he's smart and rational. I love that him so much, I don't get the hate on him? He's well written and has a good character. Funny and sarcastic too.

Hey all! I had this blog for years, mainly a Sherlock account, I kinda of stopped being active for a long time, and now I'm back. I briefly came back for Daredevil, but I got inactive again. Now I really want to make some friends who love stranger things (and ship byler) and stuff, butttt I also want my Sherlock posts to come up from the people who I follow (I can't believe ya'll are still here, this is great!!)

I it's mainly gonna be ST and Sherlock sooo, im confused, do I make a second account? I'm sure most of the people who follow me follow for Sherlock (and some daredevil) and I don't want to clutter anyone's feed with ST.

Setting Boundaries

Daily reminder that Will Byers is a victim and probably would not like things in his mouth- and it would probably draw him out of an intimate moment very quickly. I think it would be cool to see more people explore that in their fan-fictions instead of “Mike slipped him the tongue and they both groaned” or some shit.

I wanna talk about all the tiny details i put into this. That mug is the same mug on the coffee table in the Crazy together scene. Those are actual chemistry notes i pulled off google, written in incredibly sloppy cursive. Theres a chaperone application flier under those textbooks for the SnowBall. In my head, Will is in this art-phase of drawing pretty boys shirtless and calling it an anatomy study. We’ve all done it. And you can zoom in to see if you can spot any more cool details!

Edit: I know i should let this go but again, im really sorry this rubbed some people the wrong way. I wasn’t ever trying to imply that Will would be entirely opposed to intimacy and things like that. I just think he might not like stuff being shoved in his mouth, and I think him being comfortable to tell Mike that would be great. I wasn’t ever trying to imply that his relationship with intimacy is damaged beyond repair and he hates all things relating to the subject. I just think sometimes people don’t like reminders of trauma, and it takes time to trust people with our bodies after they’ve been taken advantage of

I just really processed what Will's arc is this season.

Will Byers, who would eternally deprioritize himself for even the minor convenience of others...

In order to save the children from the abuse he suffered, must accept all of himself and allow himself joy.

Phenomenal writing. They forced him to put the oxygen mask on himself first, as they say.

He said "I would do anything to save them"

And the writers said "Even love yourself?"

they really shouldve just given holly's plotline to mike.

imagine the chaos of the madwheeler duo running rampant in vecnas mind.

imagine them being forced to see each others worst memories and recognising the real reason they butt heads so often is because they just cant stand how similar they really are.

imagine they fight because theyre still in denial about their similarities because theyre both self hating idiots, and/or they have some sort of disagreement, maybe about how to escape or maybe max confronts him about how he's treated el in the past.

imagine that right as tensions are highest, they stumble into another memory and max finds out that mikes big secret is that hes in love with will. and he expects her to berate him. to yell at him, say she just knew there was something wrong with him, but of course she doesn't. she just hugs him and tells him its okay. and he's so caught off guard that he doesn't even react at first, but then piece by piece he just starts to break down and cry into her shoulder, because its such a relief to finally just admit it to someone, and the fact that max, someone who isnt very fond of him on a good day, still accepts him honestly just makes her the perfect person to admit it to.

imagine she opens up to him about how it wasn't the music that saved her at all, it was her connection, her love for lucas, and that if he wants to escape he has to accept the same thing for himself. he has to realize what love really tethers him to this world.

Can't get over this little headcanon about little Will was actually non-verbal for over a year after they met, but Mike doesn't remember it, because in his head Will always was communicating well with him.

He still thinks Will said yes, when he just nodded. Mike always talked for two of them. And he still asks are you okay, because that's how he managed to understand Will in the first place. All Will needed to do is nod in response.

He is quiet today

When Will started speaking, Mike almost didn't notice, but Joyce overheard it from the hall and couldn't stop crying until Jonathan came back from school, and then both of them were standing behind Will's bedroom door in awe, listening Will talking for the first time in years.

This is it. This is my headcanon.
