I should probably make an official pinned post. That would probably solve a lot of my anxiety around posting.

HELLO!!

Nice to meet you. If you don’t know me personally, you can call me Josh. I use He/him pronouns. I’ve somehow gathered quite a few people who follow me— and most of them are from the stranger things community. But thats not all I do!! (the hyperfixation has faded sadly)

I wanted to be clear about some of the things you’ll probably be seeing if you follow this blog. And if you choose to unfollow me- thats probably better for both of us 🫶

I make a lot of art, mostly sketches, sometimes fully rendered pieces. I sometimes post spicy stuff- but I really try to keep Daddy tumblr happy. So its never too crazy. I sometimes write fics! Just little, mini concept fics. If you ever see one you’d like to flesh out and explore, shoot me a dm and i will probably tell you to go wild with it 😌 I also post theories or analysis posts about content I enjoy. (A lot of it is The Pitt rn)

When did things become more about the “political climate” and not about telling stories and making art. Do you have nothing to say to all the trans girls out there who are struggling and repressed and figuring themselves out? Nothing to say other than “You’re an asshole and don’t deserve the community thats there for you when you’re ready.”

The past two episodes have been entirely about showing Jax that there are people that are there for her, even when she pushes people away. Despite what her mom did to her, there are people out there that still care, and she deserves community and happiness nomatter what. You have to be fucking delusional if the only two puzzle pieces you picked up are “Trans Woman” and “Asshole” and then RAN WITH IT??

Do you honestly think that the people who went to see the Digital Circus movie are maga republicans who are going to be like “See? All Trans Women suck.” Cause if you do, i beg you to open your eyes and take a look around you.

Jax’s story is going to help so many trans people out there. I know it. People who are repressed and figuring themselves out and can act ugly because of it. Those people are going to see her, and understand that there are people there to help them. And maybe they’ll try to talk to someone before it’s too late.

Trinity and Victoria watched the Stranger Things finale on new years and both cried actual tears. Victoria screamed bloody murder at “friends? no thanks… best friends” And Trinity doordashed comfort food afterwards because she was so distraught.

Two months later she starts watching it with Dennis, because he’s culturally stunted when it comes to media. They get to season 2 and the “crazy together” scene comes on— leading Dennis to pause the show to ask, “…They’re gay, right? This is gay.” And Trinity laughs so hard she has to call Victoria and tell her.

So now they all sometimes sit around and talk about how shit the ending was. And while Victoria and Dennis bond over how they wish Byler hadn’t been so ambiguous, Trinity is in the corner mourning the sheer concept of Robin and Nancy.

I was lowkey so suicidal this morning that I didn’t know if I would make it to see the finale. I was asking god or the universe to give me a sign. I, as a grown ass man, cried in the grocery store earlier when Yesterday by The Beatles came on. I was looking for a reason to say that a thunderstorm outside was a reason to keep living.
