Hello ! I'm a writer aspiring to get my book(s) published one day !

You can call me Birdy. I'll be posting on here about my writing WIPs and progress !

Just keep in mind that I may go inactive from time to time, because after all, I'm still a busy student. English isn't my native language either

I've been writing for a big part of my life now, my plans for the future almost entirely revolve around writing.

I've grown a passion for writing mystery and thrillers of some sort. You will see reoccurring themes among my WIPs. My main project is Wraithorchid (final title)

Learning to Look Back Beta Reading!!!

Hello, all! I am opening up beta reading for my novelette Learning to Look Back!

Outside of time observing humanity and protecting the health of the timeline, Ranjana is fascinated with humanity. Despite messing up time in another point of her existence, Ranjana is assigned to enter the timeline to confront Dr. Tiffany Isaac, a scientist attempting to create a time machine, to stop her from inadvertently causing a disease in the time stream. Together, Ranjana and Dr. Isaac must confront each other, and their own pasts.

This used to be a pretty nice challenge where you pick three pictures for your OC (created by @mysticstarlightduck I believe ? Correct me if I'm wrong). And I feel like it kinda died, it was so fun !

OC Moodboard - Talys Na'ren

WIP (Tentative Title): Agents of Death

"Careful, Eunessa, what have I told you?"

Eunessa skids to a halt outside the corridor, smiling and laughing as she does. Rolling her eyes, she looks up at Talys with a loll of her head and heaves the kind of sigh only a young girl not caught in her first act of rebellion can muster.

"No running with swords until you've taught us safely how," she recites the reprimand in playful exasperation, lowering her arm and relinquishing the weapon to Talys' open hand.

Talys gingerly takes the sword and kneels down to her level. "That's right." He pats her on the cheek. "Now, why don't you go fetch the rest of your brothers and sisters and find a nice set of matches to play with instead." He grins.

She grins back.

Two neighbours schools get together for a competition to bond the students from both buildings. Emery and his friends have the honor of taking part in this first edition of the annual games. Grouped with a stranger by the name of Osian, Emery will have to fight his way to the top, or suffer the consequences… Time is running out, more students are going missing. Will Emery be able to find a way to stop it all, before himself disappears ?
