Spring is the fucking greatest
It feels good to have a comic up again!! Thanks everyone for your patience while life gets in the way yet again, and fingers crossed I can get into the swing of things again!
- - -
I know that pressure is a common calming factor for neurodivergent folks like me, but also for some reason just laying face down is a funny image to me.
I want to bring some of the stories about me and my brain as GQutie continues, since that has been a huge part of my life, especially for the past four years. I have depression, anxiety, ADHD, and history as a survivor of child abuse, and all of those things affect the day-to-day as much as my gender does.Â
Of course, this isnât going to change the tone of the comic! Itâs just a continuation of the way Iâve been expanding GQutie beyond topics of gender exclusively.
If you can, please consider supporting me on Patreon so I can make more art!

esports is so powerful they will agree to use a sponsored playerâs fursona in place of the actual playerâs photo for promotional material
a lot of people are reblogging this and making fun of sonicfox but heâs one of the youngest most successful fighting game players alive like heâs earned over $300,000 through tournament winnings and he was instilling fear into adult competitors as early as 13 years old just by sitting next to them and pluggin his controller in like the kidâs a godÂ
@friendshipwrecked
I can also say heâs one of the best people to ever commission me ever. Payed me extra, checked on me periodically not for art progress but because he saw I was going through some stuff and gave me tips on my FANG in SFV. Dudeâs an angel and a friend
Call me when he makes top 3 in a real game lmfaoÂ
S C O R C H E D
Iâd like you to know that Sonicfox is currently the number one ranked player in both Mortal Kombat X and Injustice: Gods Among Us, not to mention he is the second most ranked player in Skullgirls.
So yeah, HEâS MADE IT INTO THE TOP 3 ALRIGHT
The God of Videogames is a fucking furry and Iâm SO DAMN PROUD.
I would also like to note that he looks like this
And before you ask, no. The hat was not a one time thing.Â
He wears it in pretty almost every match he plays. And to my memory, he has only took it off ONCE during a match.
His hat is the equivalent of to Jason Voorheesâs mask. Because you know youâre FUCKED when he takes it off
TIME MAGAZINE SNAPPED
Time doesnât get to be indignant. Â
âŠIt literally says âPresident of the Divided States of Americaâ right there on the cover, its not a flattering piece. Maybe if you actually did a little research youâd see that Person of the Year is not about virtue or positivity, its always been about influence and impact and there is no denying that Trump defined 2016 even if it was in the worst possible way.
The framing of the cover is deliberately arranged so the M appears like devil horns on his head, and the posing is deliberately set to mirror the Time cover from 1941 depicting Hitler. Time also published numerous articles in 2016 heavily criticizing him; the August 22 cover of last year featured Trumpâs melting face with the headline MELTDOWN (because he was having another one; I canât tell you which one at this point, thereâs been so many, but Iâm sure itâs on Twitter).
Time absolutely gets to be indignant.
me: *carries cat out of my room for being naughty*
cat: *purrs*
me: you are being punished. Please do not purr. I love you
Look at this, and remember it next time someone says that the gay community survived the AIDS epidemic.
We didnât survive, we started over. We lost all but an entire generation.
This is what âwe survived Reagan, youâll survive Trumpâ looks like. No, we didnât.
Exposing the TRUTH about the trans agenda.

As someone with multiple bilingual friends where English is not the first language, may I present to you a list of actual incidents I have witnessed:
Forgot a word in Spanish, while speaking Spanish to me, but remembered it in English. Became weirdly quiet as they seemed to lose their entire sense of identity.
Used a literal translation of a Russian idiomatic expression while speaking English. He actually does this quite regularly, because he somehow genuinely forgets which idioms belong to which language. It usually takes a minute of everyone staring at him in confused silence before he says ââŠ.AhâŠ.. that must be a Russian one thenâŠ.â
Had to count backwards for something. Could not count backwards in English. Counted backwards in French under her breath until she got to the number she needed, and then translated it into English.
Meant to inform her (French) parents that bread in America is baked with a lot of preservatives. Her brain was still halfway in English Mode so she used the word âprĂ©servatifes.â Ended up shocking her parents with the knowledge that apparently, bread in America is full of condoms.
Defined a slang term for meâŠâŠ. with another slang term. In the same language. Which I do not speak.
Was talking to both me and his mother in English when his mother had to revert to Russian to ask him a question about a word. He said âI donât knowâ and turned to me and asked âIs there an English equivalent for ĐŃĐŒĐžĐ·ĐŒĐ°ŃĐžŃĐ”ŃĐșĐžĐč?â and it took him a solid minute to realize there was no way I would be able to answer that. Meanwhile his mom quietly chuckled behind his back.
Said an expression in English but with Spanish grammar, which turned âHow stressful!â into âWhat stressing!â
Bilingual characters are great but if youâre going to use a linguistic blunder, you have to really understand what they actually blunder over. And itâs usually 10x funnier than âOoops itâs hard to switch back.â

Itâs true!
Source: X
Bass Reeves was so dedicated to the law, he even arrested his own son Bennie for the murder of his wife. Bennie was sentenced to life in prison. With over 3000 arrests, 14 kills, went his entire 32 year career in law enforcement without being shot once.
He was assigned to bring in the notorious female outlaw Belle Starr. Once she got wind who was after her she turned herself into the federal court.
Reeves was one of a few Marshalls who would venture into Indian territory *oklahoma*. After the age of 67 he retired in 1907. He enjoyed his short lived retirement as a police officer in Muskogee Oklahoma, his assigned beat had 0 crime reported until he died at the age of 71 of Brightâs disease.
He was one of the true gun slingers of the west.
I just left my husband alone with our two children for sixteen days. I was not worried about anything regarding the house, their food, or their wellbeing. I put all the appointments in the family calendar and my husband checked it and kept them. I literally did not worry about them. I missed them, and I was sad that they missed me, but I didnât worry about them AT ALL. I need to impress upon you all that I missed their company, but was not worried for their welfare.
I also did no meal prep. I donât even think I went shopping right before I left.
This is not about apples and oranges. This isnât even about my husband. This is about the fact that this is apparently WEIRD.
Another mum at my daughterâs school is leaving for ten days. Sheâs taking her youngest (who is a very small baby) and leaving her husband with their two girls. She has been cooking for days preparing freezer meals. Sheâs panicking and deputizing her six year old to remind him how to make school lunches. AND I AM APPALLED.
A) He is definitely not helpless. (Heâs a doctor or something.) What gendered bullshit. B) THAT LITTLE GIRL IS NOT OLD ENOUGH TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR HER AND HER SISTERâS WELLBEING. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK. C) Why is she married to this person and creating children with him if heâs this big of an idiot?
While she was laughingly recounting this, the other mums were nodding and smiling sympathetically, like oh yes, I too have my caveman at home!! Such managing required! I was the only one who was like âDude, heâll be fine. Literally. He will be fine.â I said it a lot. She was not convinced. She kept bringing up her older daughter. Sheâll be like a little mum!
NO.
NO NO NO NO.
NO.
Straight women, donât do this shit. Itâs gross. Donât infantilize your husbands and then expect your daughters to pick up the slack. So fucking gross. So. So. GROSS.
The fact that so many adults think a six year old girl is more capable of learning and performing basic domestic tasks than a grown-ass man says it all, really.Â
This stuff is so toxic and awful. I told a car full of women one time that I refused to be in another relationship until I met a man who was capable of making his own doctorsâ appointments and washing the dishes. They told me I was going to die alone.
Fuck this shit. Donât enable menâs incompetence and label it cute.
This my bebe. Bebe is bigger than me. Strong bebe
ok friends i wanted to confirm this storyâs accuracy before reblogging so i googled it and yes itâs TRUEÂ

heS SO ANGRY
@shavodadjian
i work in a pet store. a woman was looking at our bettas and asked me whether one was male or female. i told her that they were all male, because they are- our company only orders male bettas. she looked at me incredulously and pointed at one and asked, âeven this one?â i was like ââŠyes, why?â âitâs pink, though! why is the male fish pink?â i swear, she was borderline angry at me. i didnât know how to explain that fish genetics donât adhere to human gender roles
Guys, I keep seeing that post going around about putting uncooked spaghetti noodles in your tablet pen to work as replacement nibs, and I know OP means well and stuff, but PLEASE DONâT DO THAT.
Pasta, no matter how smooth it is, is still a product of dry flour, and rubbing it down on a surface creates micro-sized grit that will scratch up your screen faster than any tablet nib, and they wear down even faster, so it wonât even be worth it. Also, itâs so brittle, if it breaks inside the pen, it will be difficult to clean it out.
Tablet nibs are a pain to replace and buy, but buying a 10 pack of them for $7-8 on Amazon is going to be a better choice than having to pay a heftier sum to repair a scratched up tablet surface/screen.
Spread this post if you can, because Iâd really hate to see someone accidentally damage their tablets this way.
Spools of trimmer line is my go to alternative for nibs, personally!!Â
But I also much much much prefer something with a little bounce, so these are My Favorite Nibs.
A nib should last you anywhere from two to six months depending on your usage. Buy a pack, affix it to your monitor/desk/corkboard, have nibs for a year. If you end up loving them, buy two packsâ just in case.
Most wacom nibs are interchangable with their other prodiucts. I canât speak for other brands of tablet but Intuos nibs of various generations work with each other on some level!!
Watching my toddler figure out how to language is fascinating. Yesterday we were stumped when he kept insisting there was a âLego winnerâ behind his bookshelf - it turned out to be a little Lego trophy cup. Not knowing the word for âtrophyâ, heâd extrapolated a word for âthing you can winâ. And then, just now, he held up his empty milk container and said, âMummy? Itâs not rubbish. Itâs allowed to be a bottle.â - meaning, effectively, âI want this. Donât throw it away.â But to an adult ear, thereâs something quite lovely about âitâs allowed to be a bottle,â as if weâre acknowledging that the object is entitled to keep its title even in the absence of the original function.
Another good post to read for those writing small human characters.Â
My son was about three when he came to me in the middle of the day and said, âMommy, thereâs a knight behind the bush.â I thought he meant a toy knight or something. So I follow him outside and he goes, âListen. Do you hear it? Itâs night behind the bush.â It was a cricket. A cricket was standing in the little patch of shade under the bush, chirping. So, my son saw this dark area with accompanying nighttime sounds and decided, okay, well, that is a night right there. Their brains are incredible.
